Chief Perez [press conference]: An individual was identified as Claudio Neviz Valenti…was a Brown student, he was a Portuguese national, and his last known address was in Miami, Florida.

Rhode Island attorney general: In terms of what was said [by shooter], I don't know anymore today that what I told you yesterday, or the day before. There are some witnesses that say he said nothing. There are some that say he made a barking noise. Don't ask me. I don't know why. And that's it. There is no other spoken word beyond that that we are aware of.
