Ukrainian Drone Strikes Cause Blackouts in Rostov, Oryol Regions

Ukrainian drone strikes caused power and heating outages in central Russia’s Oryol region and the southern Rostov region, local authorities said early Friday.
“An enemy attack damaged utilities infrastructure in the city of Oryol,” Governor Andrei Klychkov said, adding that repair work in the regional capital could lead to temporary power and hot water outages in some areas.
Klychkov later said that schools in one of Oryol’s city districts would move online due to the utility outages.
The Telegram news channel Astra reported that the Orlovskaya thermal power plant was targeted in the overnight attack, but there was no official confirmation of that information.
In the Rostov region, Governor Yury Slyusar said multiple homes and industrial sites lost power after a utility building briefly caught fire and a high-voltage power line was damaged in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
Two villages in the region also faced power outages, Slyusar added.
Meanwhile, in the Samara region, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said “enemy drones attacked industrial sites” in the automanufacturing hub of Tolyatti and Novokuibyshevsk.
Unconfirmed reports from Telegram news channels claimed the targeted facility in Tolyatti was TolyattiAzot, one of Russia’s and the world’s largest ammonia producers. The Moscow Times could not independently confirm those reports.
No one was reported injured or killed in any of the drone attacks.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defense systems destroyed 94 Ukrainian drones in seven regions, as well as in the skies above the Caspian and Azov seas, overnight.
It said 36 of the drones were downed over the Rostov region and six drones over the Samara region. No drones were reported over the Oryol region.

Turkey probes suspected Russian drone near Izmit

Turkey's Interior Minister said on Friday that an unmanned aerial vehicle believed to be of Russian origin was found in the rural outskirts of Izmit, in Kocaeli province, adding that an investigation is underway.
According to initial assessments, the drone is thought to be an Orlan-10 model used for reconnaissance and surveillance, with authorities stressing that technical examinations are continuing.
The discovery followed a report from a local resident in the nearby Cubuklubala neighborhood, who told officials he saw the UAV crash earlier in the week but delayed reporting it out of fear.
Security units were later dispatched to the area after the incident was formally reported, officials said.

IDF Exposes Hezbollah’s Secret Maritime Terror Infrastructure Directed by Nasrallah

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on Friday details of Hezbollah’s highly classified “maritime file,” a covert project to build an organized naval terror infrastructure disguised as civilian operations, aimed at targeting Israeli and international assets.
Approximately one year ago, elite fighters from the Navy’s Shayetet 13 commando unit conducted Operation “Behind the Back” in the northern Lebanese town of Batroun, about 140 kilometers from Israel’s border.
Guided by Naval Intelligence, the forces captured Imad Amahez, a central figure in the secret maritime project and a member of Hezbollah’s coastal missile unit (Unit 7900).
Amahez was transferred to Israel for interrogation. Amahez had undergone military training in Iran and Lebanon, acquiring extensive naval expertise for maritime terror operations.
He was also trained at the Lebanese civilian maritime institute “Marsti,” illustrating Hezbollah’s systematic exploitation of civilian institutions to advance its military goals.
During questioning, Amahez disclosed critical intelligence about the project, one of Hezbollah’s most sensitive and guarded initiatives.
He described a structured maritime terror network operating under civilian cover to strike Israeli and international targets.
The program was personally overseen by the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, senior commander Fouad Shukr (eliminated during the war), and Ali Abdul Hassan Nour al-Din, who was directly responsible for the secret maritime file.
Thanks to the disruption of the project’s command chain and the intelligence provided by Amahez, the IDF succeeded in halting its progress at a critical stage, preventing the infrastructure from fully maturing within Hezbollah.
Hezbollah continues to develop the secret maritime file and other naval capabilities with extensive Iranian ideological and material support, diverting massive resources from Lebanon’s reconstruction and state institutions toward terrorism.
The IDF stated it will continue to operate across all arenas and with all available means to neutralize threats to the citizens of Israel.

At least 6 soldiers killed in northern Colombia drone and mortar attack

Guerrilla group ELN allegedly killed at least six soldiers and injured another 28 in a drone and mortar attack on a military base in northern Colombia.
The attack took place in Aguachica, a municipality in the Cesar province that is considered of major strategic importance for the ELN.
In a press statement, the National Army said that “in this terrorist attack, the criminals used drones equipped with improvised explosives and indiscriminately launched unconventional explosive devices” from home-made mortars called “tatucos.”
Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez condemned the guerrilla attack on social media platform X and said that President Gustavo Petro ordered the purchase of anti-drone systems that would allow the military to defend itself against attacks like the one in Cesar.
Although around 95% of drone attacks have been prevented this year, this threat has grown exponentially and at a very rapid pace, posing a serious risk to national security.
For this reason, the President of the Republic authorized urgent action and the allocation of 1 trillion pesos to develop the first phase of a strategic project that seeks to protect the entire country from drone attacks.

The attack took place while delegates of the Peace Commissioner’s office and the ELN are trying to resume peace talks that were suspended a year ago.
These peace talks seek to negotiate an end to the guerrillas’ insurgency of more than half a century.
The ELN, which is believed to have some 6,000 members, is one of multiple illegal armed groups that were either formed during Colombia’s armed conflict or as dissident group to organizations that agreed to peace.
The Petro administration has been trying to hold peace talks with virtually all of them, but with little success.

Warship shoots down drone swarm off UK coast

The Royal Netherlands Navy has successfully shot down aerial and surface drone threats during a live-fire exercise off the Welsh coast, becoming the first NATO ally to participate in QinetiQ’s Exercise Sharpshooter.
The three-day exercise took place at the MOD Aberporth range, around 20 miles off the coast of Wales, and saw the Dutch frigate HNLMS Evertsen subjected to simulated swarm attacks designed to reflect modern maritime threat environments.
The exercise combined live and synthetic elements, testing the ship’s ability to detect, track and neutralise multiple simultaneous threats.
During the serials, HNLMS Evertsen engaged QinetiQ’s Banshee Whirlwind aerial drone targets as well as Hammerhead uncrewed surface vehicles.
The ship successfully tracked and neutralised five aerial threats and struck and sank two unmanned surface vessels.
The exercise scenario, designed by QinetiQ-owned Inzpire, required the defence of critical assets in contested waters.
Live targets were integrated with synthetic threats representing cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and hostile aircraft, allowing crews to rehearse the full kill chain from initial detection through to engagement.
Commander Marcel Keveling of the Royal Netherlands Navy said the exercise delivered valuable operational lessons, stating: “HNLMS Evertsen and the Royal Netherlands Navy are grateful to have trained on such an immersive level.
To be able to fire at live targets and keep our crew in a higher state of readiness for multiple days has taught us many lessons we aim to take with us when sailing on an operational level.”
He added that realistic training was increasingly important given the current security environment, describing the exercise as “a prime example” of that approach.
QinetiQ said the exercise highlighted the growing importance of multinational training as drone and missile threats proliferate.
Will Blamey, Chief Executive for UK Defence at QinetiQ, said: “With interoperability between nations more important than ever, these exercises give the UK and its allies the opportunity to train alongside each other, sharing tactics and learnings to improve readiness.”
He added that combining live and synthetic training helped allied forces “stay battle-ready and make confident decisions in a fast-changing threat environment.”
Exercise Sharpshooter is run by QinetiQ as part of its wider test and evaluation role for the UK armed forces.
Under the Long-Term Partnering Agreement, the company operates 16 sites across the UK delivering training across land, sea and air domains.
The Dutch participation follows recent Sharpshooter activity involving the Royal Navy. Earlier this year, HMS Dauntless neutralised drone swarms during the exercise ahead of its deployment with the UK Carrier Strike Group.
QinetiQ has also supported multinational air and missile defence exercises including Med Strike in the Mediterranean and Formidable Shield off the coast of Scotland, involving 11 allied nations countering threats ranging from drone swarms to ballistic and supersonic missiles.

Joe Rogan uses three haunting words to predict Americans' reaction to UFO disclosure

Joe Rogan invoked three words that still haunt Americans more than two decades later while discussing how the country might react to an alien threat.
Speaking on his podcast, Rogan said such a world-changing event could evoke reactions similar to those seen 'after September 11th.'
'It was a horrible tragedy, but there was a beautiful result temporarily, where everybody was really united,' he said on Thursday.
'There were American flags on everybody's cars in Los Angeles. In New York, everyone was friendly.'
Rogan added that Americans had all decided that we were together and that we were faced with a real threat and that we had to be united, suggesting a similar reaction would unfold in the event of visitors from another world.
Along with the widespread displays of American flags, there were spontaneous memorial vigils, national unity under the 'United We Stand' theme, lawmakers singing 'God Bless America,' and a surge in support for military and first responders.
The discussion was sparked when Rogan referenced a famous moment from history, recalling Ronald Reagan's speech at the United Nations.
'Imagine how united we would be if faced with an alien threat from another world,' he said. 'We'd forget our differences and realize that, at the core, we're all connected.'
Rogan's guest, Michael P. Masters, a professor of biological anthropology at Montana Tech, agreed, expanding on the idea by suggesting humanity may be linked by a deeper, shared consciousness, an idea he said some researchers associate with the UFO phenomenon.
'If we recognize that we are just fingerprints on the same hand, then we're all iterations of the same overarching consciousness,' Masters said.
'And there may be aspects of that reflected in the UFO phenomenon.'
Rogan has a long-standing obsession with the topic of extraterrestrial life and UFOs, and in his stand-up comedy.
He often expresses the view that aliens 'are out there' and that the government might be covering up the truth.
The podcaster also believes that, given the 'hundreds of billions of galaxies' and stars in the universe, it is mathematically certain that 'for sure there's something else out here.'
While often focusing on the physical evidence, he has also explored alternative theories with guests, such as the idea that aliens might be interdimensional beings or human time travelers from the future, which aligns with Masters' theories.
Masters, who holds a PhD in anthropology from The Ohio State University, has gained attention beyond academia for his unconventional theories about UFOs.
In his books, including Identified Flying Objects and The Extratempestrial Model, he argues that some UFO encounters may not involve extraterrestrials at all.
Instead, Masters has proposed that the beings described in many sightings could be future human descendants traveling back through time, a hypothesis he has publicly discussed for years.
'The phenomenon may be our own distant descendants coming back through time to study us in their own evolutionary past,' he said in a 2019 interview.
While Rogan expressed confidence that something unexplained is occurring, Masters emphasized caution, noting that many claims surrounding UFOs and alien encounters require further study as stigma around the topic continues to fade.
Masters also argued the 'gray' alien archetype, large heads, big eyes, thin bodies, mirrors projected human evolution amid declining robustness, fertility issues and genetic engineering.
He linked abductions involving reproductive material extraction to future humans addressing fertility crises, citing cases like Jim Penniston's Rendlesham Forest message, claiming the need for genetic material.
Rogan and Masters touched on government reverse-engineering, whistleblowers like Bob Lazar, transmedium craft, and Peruvian tridactyl mummies resembling grays, with Masters cautious pending further study.
Rogan expressed conviction in the phenomenon, while Masters shared a personal sighting and childhood 'tasking' inspiring his research.
The episode framed UFOs as potentially intratemporal, urging discernment of encounter reports amid diminishing stigma.

🚨WHO WAS MAX SPIERS: The Man Who Knew Too Much… Or Went Too Far
Max Spiers wasn't a celebrity and he wasn't mainstream, but his name still circulates for a reason.
He was a British researcher who moved in fringe spaces most of us move in like UFOs, covert military programs, psychological manipulation, mind control, and what some call supersoldier narratives.
Whether you take those topics seriously or not, Spiers did, and he spoke about them openly.
He claimed personal experiences that blurred the line between belief, trauma, and investigation. Altered states, hidden programs, things operating behind the curtain.
To some, he sounded like a whistleblower and to others, a man deep in his own mythology. That ambiguity is central to his story.
In 2016, Spiers traveled to Warsaw, Poland, where he was scheduled to speak at a conference.
Friends say he seemed fine beforehand, he wasn't having a public breakdown and showed no obvious spiral.
But shortly before his death, he sent a message to his mother that adds more to the mystery: “If anything happens to me, investigate.”
That text ensured his death would never be seen as routine. This is incredibly significant right now with everything that is going on.
Spiers fell violently ill while staying in an apartment in Warsaw. Reports say he vomited a dark, tar like substance before collapsing and dying on a couch.
He was 39 years old. Polish authorities later ruled his death the result of pneumonia combined with drug intoxication and closed the case as not suspicious.
For many at the time that explanation didn't settle anything. His mother obviously raised concerns, especially after the last text she had received from Max.
There were other things that were highly suspicous like missing belongings and wiped devices. She questioned how a relatively healthy man could deteriorate so quickly.
Online communities filled in the gaps with speculation with some claiming he was silenced, others arguing he was struggling privately with health, substances, and belief systems feeding off each other.
Whilst there is no verified evidence that Max Spiers was murdered, there is also no way to ignore how strange the context of his death was.
Both can be true at the same time and this is something we need to consider at all times because Spiers story isn't proof of a conspiracy but it is a warning.
Spiers story is one that highlights how secrecy, obsession, genuine inquiry, and personal trauma, along with extreme narratives can collapse into one another, especially in spaces where distrust of authority is already baked in.
Was Max Spiers exposing something real?
