A bombshell claim about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has emerged in the new Netflix documentary ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning.’ by 50 cent
Former associates and friends allege the disgraced music mogul, also known as Puff Daddy and Love, ordered the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, offering members of LA gang The Crips a $US1 million “kill fee.”
The four-part docuseries, produced by 50 Cent, explores the life of Combs from his Harlem upbringing all the way up to days prior to his arrest.
Combs spokesperson Juda Engelmayer also told USA TODAY on Tuesday, Dec. 2, that the rapper’s legal team would not be commenting “on individual claims being repeated in the documentary.”
“Many of the people featured have longstanding personal grievances…” Engelmayer said.
“The project was built around a one-sided narrative led by a publicly admitted adversary, and it repeats allegations without context, evidence, or verification.”
Combs “ushered Biggie to his death”
In March 1997, six months after Shakur’s death, Combs insisted Biggie stay in LA for promotional events despite the rapper fearing for his life.
Biggie was assassinated there just months later.
“He ushered Biggie to his death,” Burrowes said.
After the shocking murder, Combs planned a send-off fit for a king, but once he learned of the cost, he decided to bill the entire cost of Biggie’s funeral back to his estate, according to Burrowes.
