Trump Suspends $40BN Tech Deal With UK Over Free Speech Crackdown
The Trump administration has delivered a major blow to UK-US relations by suspending a massive $40 billion Tech Prosperity Deal, citing Britain’s aggressive censorship regime as a direct threat to American tech giants and their ability to operate freely.
This move underscores Trump’s zero-tolerance stance on foreign policies that undermine US interests, especially when they involve stifling free speech and handing advantages to global competitors like China.
The White House paused the tech prosperity deal amid concerns the UK government’s draconian Online Safety Act, which regulates online speech, will stifle American artificial intelligence companies, the Telegraph reports.
The law allows the British government to levy large fines on tech giants it deems have facilitated ‘hate speech’.
After the rise of artificial intelligence, companies like OpenAI or xAI can face huge fines – harming their growth and giving China an edge in the AI race.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that the £31bn agreement has been suspended as the White House seeks to improve terms on a wider UK-US trade deal agreed in May.
With the US now leveraging economic deals to push back against censorship, this suspension sends a clear message: alliances come with strings attached when basic freedoms are at stake. As Britain doubles down on policing speech, Trump is ensuring American innovation—and expression—won’t pay the price.

Barbed-Wire, Tear-Gas, & Water-Cannons: Brussels Battles Protesting Farmers Who Orbán Says Are '100% Right'
As the EU moves to crush protesting farmers demonstrating in Brussels, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered full backing to the farmers and their efforts to stop the EU’s Mercosur free trade deal, which threatens to destroy food security in Europe.
“Farmers are 100 percent right,” said Orbán, who is currently in Brussels attending the EU Summit.
He added that the farmers have obvious issues with the Mercosur package, a free trade agreement with Latin American countries, because it “kills the farmers.”
“Hungary is one of the countries that does not support the Mercosur agreement. There were serious professional debates about this in Hungary, and the Hungarian position was that we do not support this,” said the prime minister.
Viktor Orbán reminded that the agreement would require a qualified majority, and according to his expectations, there is not enough support.
“Mercosur opponents make it impossible for this agreement to be signed. The plan is that the President of the European Commission wants to sign this later this week. I think this needs to be stopped here now, and we can prevent it,” he said.
He also said that another problem for farmers is the Green Deal, which leads to expensive overregulation in agricultural work in such a way that it represents a serious cost and competitive disadvantage for European food producers.
“So I have to say that with the Mercosur agreement, they are shooting European farmers in the foot, but before that, they tie their legs together so that they have no chance in the global competition,” he stated.
“That is why the farmers are absolutely right, the Hungarian government is 100 percent with the farmers,” said the Hungarian leader.
Farmers met with force
The use of force against farmers in Brussels is drawing criticism from Hungarian journalists, including Dániel Deák, the senior analyst of the Század Institute.
He published a video report showing the European Commission building, or Ursula von der Leyen’s workplace, surrounded by barbed wire.
According to him, with these measures, they are trying to prevent farmer protesters from getting close to the president of the European Commission.

Israel not invited: Can outside forces forge peace in Gaza?
The US is trying to establish a ‘multinational stabilization force’ to decide who will handle the Middle East’s hottest potato
In Doha on December 16, behind closed doors and without the usual diplomatic fanfare, the US – via CENTCOM – convened representatives of around 45 Arab, Muslim, and Western states to discuss what official language renders blandly as an International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza, but what in practice is an attempt to work out who will assume responsibility for the combustible ‘day after tomorrow’ in the Middle East – and how. Israel was neither invited nor involved in the discussions – a detail that in and of itself became a political statement, even if it can formally be attributed to the need for a ‘working atmosphere’ and confidentiality.
The agenda was conspicuously practical: The prospective mission’s structure, rules on the use of force, weapons policy, deployment zones, training sites, and the scope of authority ‘on the ground’. In other words, this was not a conversation about principles and slogans, but about the things soldiers and lawyers usually settle – who answers to whom, what constitutes a threat, when firing is permitted, how incidents are prevented, and who bears responsibility if incidents occur anyway. It is precisely this ‘technical’ frame that carries the political meaning: Once parties are arguing not about an abstract ‘peace’ but about rules for using force, they are implicitly accepting that forces may actually be deployed, and that conditions on the ground will be harsher than any declaration.
Yet the real nerve of the story lies not in the word ‘stabilization’, but in what is meant to be stabilized. By some reports, one of the key fault lines runs through the question of the mandate. Would this force serve merely as a buffer, facilitating humanitarian logistics and maintaining basic security – or would it have to brush up against the task politically framed as the disarmament of Hamas? At the same time, media coverage suggested that the ISF concept does not envisage waging war on Hamas directly, immediately creating the classic peacekeeping dilemma: The mission is expected to enforce order, yet is given neither the political authorization nor the military model for confronting an organized armed actor determined to challenge that order.
Equally revealing is the dispute over the geography of responsibility. Many potential contributors, it was reported, are far more willing to discuss a presence in areas under Israeli control than in districts where Hamas’ influence persists – or could quickly reconstitute itself. In essence, this is a debate about where ‘stabilization’ ends and the genuine risk of combat begins – a risk that neither parliaments, nor public opinion, nor the participating countries’ military leaderships are eager to assume.

Netanyahu to present Trump with new Iran attack plans during US visit — report
Jerusalem is concerned Tehran could rebuild its nuclear program, but is primarily worried about a potential surge in ballistic missile production to some 3,000 a month, NBC says
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will present plans for a possible fresh attack on Iran to US President Donald Trump during his upcoming visit to Washington, NBC News reported Saturday, citing several unnamed officials.
According to the report, Israel is growing increasingly concerned that Iran is rebuilding and even expanding its ballistic missile production in the wake of the nations’ 12-day war in June.
Israel is also worried that Iran is rebuilding its nuclear enrichment program, which was heavily damaged by Israeli and American strikes, the report added.
Netanyahu and Trump are expected to meet at the US president’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida at the end of the month.
While Israel has publicly called Iran’s nuclear program an existential threat, officials quoted in the report said that the ballistic missiles were seen by Jerusalem as a more pressing concern.
“The nuclear weapons program is very concerning. There’s an attempt to reconstitute.[But] it’s not that immediate,” a source with knowledge of Israel’s plans told NBC News.
“The threat of the missiles is very real, and we weren’t able to prevent them all last time,” another source said.

Epstein Colleague Les Wexner Can’t Escape the Spotlight
Les Wexner, the American billionaire and former close associate of Jeffrey Epstein, is back in the spotlight as new emails reveal he lied about his relationship with Epstein, and former Ohio State University athletes seek to subpoena him in an ongoing legal dispute.
Jeffrey Epstein’s recently leaked Yahoo emails reveal previously unknown communications between the serial abuser and billionaire Les Wexner, including how Epstein handled the Wexner Foundation’s funds even after he was exposed for child abuse.
Les Wexner is the founder of retail giant L Brands Inc., now known as Bath & Body Works, and the former owner of Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lane Bryant, and The Limited. Wexner and Epstein’s relationship has been well documented for over a decade. Wexner famously gave Epstein his 45,000-square-foot, eight-story mansion on East 71st Street in New York City.
The emails show that, despite the Wexner Foundation conducting an “independent review” that claimed Epstein had “no contact” with the foundation’s staff after September 2007, Epstein was regularly consulted for approval and advice on financial transactions. The review was released in 2020 after growing concerns regarding the relationship between the two men.
The emails were obtained by the nonprofit, Distributed Denial of Secrets, and then provided to Drop Site News.
The Wexner Foundation’s review made three main claims, including that Epstein:
“played no role in the management or administration of the Foundation’s operations,”
had “no meaningful role in the Foundation’s budget [or] finances,”
“did not make decisions regarding the use of Foundation’s funds.”
However, reporting by Drop Site News proves these claims are false. Drop Site News reports:
“The emails show that Darren Indyke, who served as both Epstein’s personal lawyer and attorney for the foundation, was the “middleman” in such communications, cloaking Epstein’s foundation-related activities with attorney-client privilege.
In email after email, Wexner financial controller Peg Ugland wrote to Indyke with account balances for a web of Wexner entities—charitable trusts, private investment vehicles, and personal trading accounts—with a recurring refrain: “Please ask Jeffrey if I can transfer.”
Peg Ugland repeatedly asked Epstein’s attorney to “ask Jeffrey” for approval of transfer requests totaling millions of dollars. These included an April 2006 request from Ugland to move $1 million from a Wexner Personal Holdings Corp account at Bear Stearns to a JPMorgan account. Drop Site News found similar transfer requests from 2005 to 2008.
The emails also highlight how Epstein was seen as the decision-maker for which expenses should be covered by Wexner’s numerous entities, how to move assets between entities, as well as approval for large funds transfers for the Wexner accounts. Epstein often advised on IRS filings and multi-million dollar transactions up until December 2007, two months after Epstein was said to have resigned as a trustee of the Wexner Foundation.

MAGA civil war over Israel erupts into the open at Turning Point USA conference
Shapiro attacks conservative leaders for not calling out conspiracy theorists; Bannon: Shapiro a ‘cancer’ who wants US to put Israel’s interests first; Kelly: Rift revolves around Israel
The first major gathering of Turning Point USA since the murder of its influential founder Charlie Kirk laid bare divisions over Israel and the embrace of antisemitic figures.
Key figures in the Make America Great Again movement took to the stage in Phoenix on Thursday and Friday to tear into each other, blasting opponents for cozying up to fascists or accusing them of besmirching the memory of Kirk.
Influential podcaster Ben Shapiro came straight out of the gate, attacking former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for an uncritical interview with self-described white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
Shapiro sharply criticized Carlson for interviewing the outspoken antisemite on his podcast, calling it “an act of moral imbecility.”
The Jewish podcaster, attacking Carlson for a second time within days, said the former Fox News host should never have given publicity to Fuentes, whom he called “a Hitler apologist, Nazi-loving, anti-American piece of refuse.”
Kirk had “despised” Fuentes, Shapiro added. “He knew that Nick Fuentes is an evil troll and that building him up is an act of moral imbecility, and that is precisely what Tucker Carlson did.”
Shapiro also hit out at Carlson and other leaders within the conservative movement, including broadcaster Megyn Kelly, over what he said was their failure to call out figures such as Candace Owens, who often spreads conspiracy theories, many of them antisemitic.
Owens has alleged without evidence that Israeli spies were involved in Kirk’s death and that he was betrayed by people close to him. Authorities say his killer acted alone.
Owens, whose YouTube channel has 5.7 million subscribers, is also involved in a legal fight with French President Emmanuel Macron over her claims his wife Brigitte is actually a man.
“The conservative movement is also in danger from charlatans who claim to speak in the name of principle but actually traffic in conspiracism and dishonesty,” Shapiro said. “Those of us with a microphone have a moral obligation to call that out by name.”
Owens responded a day later, writing on X that “Every time Ben speaks I feel more certain Israel is involved in [Kirk’s killing].”
“Ben only cares about Israel’s interests. So Israel is involved,” Owens claimed.

After months of pressure, the DOJ released only a partial set of Epstein files even though more than 300,000 pages exist and many are still being withheld.
This feels like controlled transparency, not truth. They dump a chunk, promise the rest later, and hope the public gets tired before the names that really matter show up. When 300,000 pages exist and only some see daylight, that is not disclosure, that is damage control. The photos are shocking enough to distract, but the real question is who is still being protected and why. Every delay just makes it louder that this story is nowhere near finished.
“The Department of Justice released a portion of the vast trove of documents related to the federal government’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, after months of infighting that tested the unity of the MAGA movement.
The release comes after Congress passed a bill ordering the Justice Department to make all of its unclassified records related to Epstein’s investigation and prosecution public by Dec. 19, despite initial objections from President Donald Trump and Republican Party leaders.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said that Friday’s release would not include all material and the department would disseminate potentially hundreds of thousands more files “over the next couple weeks.”
Trump had for months insisted that the push to release the files is a “Democrat hoax,” and he repeatedly targeted Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) — two Republicans who led the charge in the House to release the files.”

IRS whistleblowers tell of ‘unprecedented’ corruption swept ‘under rug’ by Hunter Biden pardon
Ziegler and Shapley went on to lay out the entirety of their case — involving some uncharged accusations of failing to register as a foreign agent while landing lucrative paydays for gigs in Ukraine, Romania and China — before a “sweetheart” plea deal, a guilty plea to tax evasion and an eventual pardon by former President Joe Biden had everything “swept under the rug.”
“The money was going for the family, was always about enriching the Biden family,” added Shapley, who served as supervisory agent on the tax fraud case, “whether it was tuition … or any other types of bills.”

U.S. Congress Passes Defence Bill Locking American Troops Into Europe, Backing Ukraine, Limiting Trump
On 17 December 2025, The United States Congress has passed a sweeping defence bill that entrenches America’s military commitment to Europe and guarantees continued support for Ukraine, delivering one of the clearest institutional rebukes yet to President Donald Trump’s approach to foreign and security policy.
The legislation, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2026, was approved by large bipartisan majorities in both chambers, reflecting deep concern among lawmakers about the direction of U.S. strategy under the Trump administration. The bill now awaits the president’s signature, which is widely expected despite its direct constraints on executive power.
A Bill That Freezes the Status Quo in Europe
At the heart of the NDAA are provisions designed to prevent a rapid or unilateral drawdown of U.S. forces stationed in Europe. The law requires that American troop levels on the continent cannot fall below current thresholds for any sustained period without detailed justification to Congress and formal consultation with NATO allies.
In practical terms, the bill locks tens of thousands of U.S. troops into Europe, reinforcing NATO’s eastern flank at a time of continued tension with Russia. It also authorises funding to sustain U.S. military infrastructure and rotational deployments in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states, signalling a long-term commitment rather than temporary reassurance.
For European governments unsettled by repeated suggestions from President Trump that the U.S. could scale back its NATO role, the vote offers a measure of stability. It makes clear that, regardless of White House rhetoric, the American legislature remains invested in the post-war security architecture of Europe.
Ukraine Funding Extended
The bill also guarantees security assistance for Ukraine through at least the next two fiscal years. While the precise allocation will be finalised through appropriations, Congress has committed hundreds of millions of dollars for training, equipment, and logistical support, maintaining a policy line that has enjoyed bipartisan backing since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
This provision stands in contrast to the Trump administration’s sceptical stance on long-term aid to Kyiv and reflects congressional concern that wavering U.S. support could embolden Moscow or fracture Western unity.
Congress Moves to Contain the President
Beyond its military substance, the NDAA is politically significant for what it says about power in Washington. Lawmakers from both parties have framed the bill as a necessary guardrail against abrupt strategic shifts driven by presidential preference rather than alliance consensus.
Trump’s own national security rhetoric has repeatedly criticised the European Union, questioned NATO’s value, and hinted at a more transactional relationship with Russia. By embedding troop commitments and alliance obligations into statute, Congress is asserting that dismantling the post-1945 security order is not solely a presidential decision.
The result is a rare moment of institutional confrontation: a president advancing a disruptive foreign-policy vision, and a legislature actively working to constrain it.

The Australian Israel Lobby Is Flat-Out Saying They Want a Ban on Criticism of Israel
Not just hate speech against Jews. Criticism of a foreign state. They’re coming right out and saying it.
Australians everywhere should be made acutely aware that the Australian Israel lobby is now explicitly advocating a ban on criticism of the state of Israel.
Not just hate speech against Jews. Criticism of a foreign state. They’re coming right out and saying it.
During a recent public video conference with the American Jewish Committee on the topic of the Bondi Beach shooting, the Executive Manager of the Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC) explicitly says he wants pro-Palestine protests to be banned by the Australian government, and that addressing the problem of antisemitic hate speech in Australia necessarily means stopping opposition to Israel’s actions.
About 40 minutes into the American Jewish Committee’s YouTube video of the conference, AIJAC Executive Manager Joel Burnie demands that the Australian government take much stronger action to regulate freedom of expression regarding Israel and Zionism in Australia, saying the following:
“They need to act swiftly. They need to go to their own arms and their own institutions: no longer can you refuse service to a Zionist. We are going to prosecute people that spew hate speech against your people, and we’re not going to tip toe around the fact that the central problem here is Israel. I for one as Jewish leader will no long talk about antisemitism in isolation from Israel, because it’s the rhetoric and language on Israel that motivates the people to come and kill us. Those two terrorists were motivated by what was going on in Israel, and that’s what motivated them to come and kill us. So if they had Israel on their minds why are we acting as though it has nothing to do with the vitriolic binary nature of the pro-Palestinian advocacy movement?”

AI as the Operating System of Digital Totalitarianism
Artificial intelligence is marketed as neutral, objective, and inevitable. We are told it will improve efficiency, manage complexity, and assist decision-making across society. However, a central question is not just what AI can or can’t do, but who controls it — and to what end.
AI is not an autonomous force. It is built, funded, trained, filtered, and deployed by governments, corporations, military agencies, and financial institutions. Like any administrative technology, it reflects the priorities of those who design and own it. What makes AI historically dangerous is not intelligence, but scale and centralization.
AI is rapidly becoming the operating system of a new form of power.
From Governance to Administration
Classical totalitarian systems relied on visible authority: laws, police, censorship offices, and coercion that could be identified and resisted. Digital totalitarianism—more accurately, an advanced form of the administrative state in which state and corporate power converge and are operationalized through technical systems—functions differently.
Rather than demanding belief or public loyalty, it operates through systems of automated compliance, procedural dependency, and algorithmic decision-making.
It replaces overt force with administration.
Administration does not argue. It configures.
Rather than banning ideas outright, it filters visibility. Rather than issuing commands, it sets conditions. Rather than punishing dissent openly, it quietly restricts access. Compliance is produced not through fear, but through dependence on systems that cannot be negotiated with.
AI is uniquely suited to this role. It enables automated decision-making at scale, without human judgment at the point of enforcement. Responsibility dissolves into procedure. Power becomes difficult to locate, challenge, or appeal.
This is not a future scenario. It is already underway.
The Consolidation of Power Through Code
Power that was once distributed across institutions is now being consolidated through a single technological layer. AI-driven systems increasingly centralize control over:
information visibility
digital identity
financial access
surveillance and monitoring
automated enforcement
Like central planning in economics, algorithmic governance promises efficiency while quietly eliminating local knowledge, discretion, and accountability.

Paul Craig Roberts - Zionists have silenced the moral conscience of the western world
"Now ask yourself, how did Zionists achieve such power over the entirely of the Western world as to place Israel and Jews off limits for criticism no matter their behavior?
Of all the peoples of Earth, Israelis alone can do whatever they please and no one is allowed to say one word against it. Why does every Western government submit to such humiliation? Why do they consent to having their voice and their moral conscience silenced?
Why does the Western world cower in fear of being called anti-semite?"

Former Pakistani PM Imran Khan and wife Bushra Bibi given 17-year jail sentence in new graft case
Former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to 17 years' prison each in a corruption case.
The case relates to luxury watches gifted to Khan by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during official visits, which prosecutors said Khan and his wife then purchased from the state at a heavily discounted price in violation of Pakistan's gift rules.
A court in Pakistan handed down the guilty ruling on Saturday.
The latest conviction adds to a series of legal troubles for Khan, who has been behind bars since August 2023, and is currently serving a 14-year sentence in a separate land graft case.
He faces dozens of cases filed since he was ousted from office in 2022, ranging from corruption to anti-terrorism and state secrets charges.
Khan has denied wrongdoing in all the cases, which his party says are politically motivated.
"The court announced the sentence without hearing the defence and sentenced 17 years imprisonment to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi with heavy fines," Khan's family lawyer Rana Mudassar Umer told Reuters.
They were handed 10 years' rigorous imprisonment under Pakistan's penal code for criminal breach of trust and a further seven years under anti-corruption laws, the special court of Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency said in its verdict.
Khan's jail term from Saturday's ruling would begin after he has served the 14 years from the land graft case, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said.
Mr Tarrar said the purchase resulted in losses of several million rupees for the state.
Zulfi Bukhari, a spokesperson for Mr Khan, said the verdict "ignores basic principles of justice" and turns the process into "a tool for selective prosecution".
Khan has told his legal team to appeal the decision at the Islamabad High Court, Salman Safdar, another one of his lawyers, told reporters outside the jail where the trials were being held, Geo News reported.

Iran has not just developed one of the most advanced ICBMs in the world
(New video on the Qaem ICBM has just been released on the DDD YT-Channel)
➡️ Israeli sources now claim that Iran was close to mastering what no other country has ever masted:
Purse-Fusion nuclear weapons
The development-stage was so critical, that this is claimed to have been the key reason for the (irrational) sneak attack in summer 2025
Publicly, no physical method is known that would allow pure-fusion nuclear weapons.
But Iran's known open source research tells us that nuclear fusion is a key research topic.
All this information comes from Israeli sources or those connected to it (ISIS-online) and may be for justifying the attack
But here is critical point:
At least two of the Iranian scientist killed by Israel had created simulation codes for fusion processes and published them in international journals.
Was it for future fusion power reactors?
Was it for thermonuclear secondaries?
Or was it to simulate pure-fusion weapons?
Only the 5 main nuclear powers and Japan basically do research on such codes
Whats clear is that Iran is highly ambitious in strategic weapons matters.
They developed the Qaem ICBM at the edge of current technology
They developed the advanced nuclear weapon design of the early 2000's AMAD program. Cutting edge at that time
➡️ Lots of research on neutron physics, may mean that something currently unimaginable, like a pure-fusion nuclear weapon may not as crazy at it may sound
Take this with lots of salt: It all comes from adversarial, Israeli sources and would be a great pretext to lure Trump into confronting Iran
