I always had my problem with a lot of stuff written in the Bible until I found the Nag Hammadi Texts. It is on you if you take a deeper look into those teachings and Gnostik or if you want to belief what you belief.
For me, it gave me finally inner peace and answers to all of my questions! Put your trust in Christ! Maybe the God of the OT and those who push him are the same entities humanity should be fighting?

That´s the next thing. Why always telling your creation what not to do. Why not say you should, instead of the negativity? And the first no was, don´t eat the fruit of knowledge? Why not? Maybe to see that the great Architect of this Universe is just a blind creation, thinking he is God because he does not know that he is not? I read the Bible numerous times. And I know that Jesus is warning us about the father of the Jews. But it took me a while to discover the Gnostic texts out of Nag Hammadi. Nothing in the material Universe is perfect, nothing is substantial. Everything feeds on other things. Fungus makes trees sick to gain, animals eating animals, people killing people… Yes, the free will is the free will, but the God in the OT is not the highest being in the ALL (as I see it). I am for sure that we are all deceived into thinking that he is out of the Mystery Schools. Why? So that we will go into the light after death and so the reincarnation trap comes down an us over and over again. I only ask you the read those Gnostic Texts from John, Phillip, and the Pistis Sophia. To me, it all makes sense and gave me what I was asking all the time!

Jesus came out of the Pleroma to show us our divine Spark within (Kingdom of heaven is inside of you). He helped us remember. And the question is, What is if thinking to be awake is the last trap to see trough?
Read those texts for yourself and then listen to the Gospel again. I don´t want you to change your belief! I am far from that, but it is wise just to hear "Don´t go into the light after death" just to remember it, when the time has come. And then, decide what you will do!
