McCarthy was eventually painted as a zealot who used the tactic of inflaming public opinion to drive persons he labeled 'commies' out of office/business.

Comey here is impugning the 'messenger'. He is trying to steer focus over to the evil intentions of the persons heading the investigation of the FBI rather than the actual criminal acts some in the FBI are being accused of.

Comey lost any credibility/sympathy when he said, basically, "Yeah Clinton's a crook, but no lawyer would take the case." He's not fooling anyone at this point.

By referring to no schools named after McCarthy he means that because McCarthy was finally demonized and died in disgrace, those investigating now should consider the same thing happening to them. IOW, public opinion will turn against them. It's the 'worst case scenario' apparently. " won't like you. Forget that school or office building being named after you, if you keep it up."

That won't work now because taking out the MSM as a credible source was the number one item on the 'clean the swamp' to do list.

For me, it hints at megalomania from Comey's end. Are we to aspire to to higher office and then make decisions that ensure a fucking school is named after us?

Next thing we know Comey will be talking about a national holiday in his honor. Jesus F'n Christ.

>According to protocol that train route should have been heavily protected. No vehicles should have been even close to crossings.

I think the garbage truck was taken on back/dirt roads to the crossing.

Like the incident last year when a car shot out of the woods just as Trump's motorcade passed. The car was on a forest path but didn't clear the ditch next to the highway. SS didn't know about it, presumably.

So maybe the truck is commandeered and the driver (local who knew the dirt roads) forced to drive to the crossing.

Drone, watching main roads, picked it up too late to avoid a collision, but did get the train slowed down.

Also, don't know, were the crossbucks still intact after the collision? Did the driver go around them, or could the truck drive on the tracks for a short distance?

Would the crossbucks have sensors alerting when they were broken or when a car was underneath them or between them when down? Thinking, if so, that would alert the train.
