Yes. They maligned McCarthy and made him out to be a witch hunter. But the government - and Hollywood - really were infiltrated by foreign communist agents. But the left owned the narrative and now everyone has been indoctrinated to think McCarthy was a lunatic bad guy. Comey is saying if they all stick together, they can own the narrative and turn it around.
