Hard to argue against it at this point, at least some sort of years-long moratorium. The "immigrants" of today are not the immigrants of 130 years ago and often have little desire to be in here for any reason other than to siphon resources and send them back to where their actual loyalties lie.
They don't call it the methlab of democracy for nothing.
