Okay, try to debunk this, Mr. "Fact" checker:
Even short exposure to blue light puts the brain into a high activity work mode which would naturally occur only for a brief window of time at midday on sunny days, but apparently if sustained, damage begins to accumulate and degenerative changes appear in certain brain regions. Staring directly at a source of (white) blue light is a lot like staring at the sun, it permanently destroys the photoreceptors and produces necrotic cell death in retinal ganglion. Necrosis, meaning the cell died and ruptured its contents everywhere, rather than apoptosis where it's triggered to cleanly wrap itself up and die. I've found papers showing this going back to 2002. It was originally observed after installing fluorescent lights, but more minor.
In the era of LED lighting, research is becoming more commonplace with the scope widening to include increased cancer rates and general bodily deterioration via suppression of melatonin synthesis, which can persist long after exposure to blue light. We're naturally having an inversely correlated melatonin and cortisol curve whether we actually sleep or not. Something to be aware of passing those bright white headlights on the road, driving with them is probably worse. Cancer rates, health problems, and errors will likely increase in eg truck drivers. Or walk under, or live next to, the new LED streetlights which appeared everywhere in the course of like 3 days. Suppressing melatonin also has effects on fertility in women. Ecological effects are suppression of nighttime pollinators, altered nutrient profiles of crops, and changes in the behavior of microorganisms, with some being killed and others being stressed until they're tuned for virulence. All of those effects are tied together. Plants make beneficial phytochemicals in response to challenge or stress, so little or no fungal, viral, or bacterial stress results in reduced beneficial properties of plants and potentially an altered toxin/nutrient profile. Likewise the spectral content of the light a crop is grown under can give it certain outward properties (larger, more stemming, greater or fewer leaves) but this can't be always be used as a direct metric of other qualities, like nutrition. Plants evolved for transduction and dynamic response to a massive number of variables, restriction of that spectrum has many already well known effects.

Concerning laser therapies. It was found way back in the 1930's by Russian researchers that cells emit highly coherent bursts of UV radiation, and that this strongly modulates the behavior of their neighbors. Using exposed chickpea root tips from separate plants, they infected one root tip. Leaving them alone, of course the disease stayed in the one plant. When they put a quartz block between the root tips, the disease state and disease behavior was transmitted to the other plant. This did not occur with ordinary glass, indicating UV is at work. There's also a role for IR, eg infrared saunas. These have been dubbed biophotons, the field is called biophotonics.
