as a child you can't drive yourself to music lessons.
you aren't able to be in sports unless your parents are on board.
and if they don't feed youin the morning you aren't going to do very well in school.
or if they push you over to your siblings and say to each other 'they'll teach him how to behave, they'll show him the ropes' then you're being raised by other children.
without the support of adults you can get to adulthood and then figure it out.
but to excell in various fields you rather need to have the support, both emotional and logistical, of your parents.
also say a mother is a coddler. She emasculates her husband when he tries to get the kid to overcome his fears. She embarrasses them both at a public place . . . you think that helps the child?
today I watched a video about another temple in baalbek. It has the same kind stone work for it's base
He kind of looks like Lara Croft, about to push a block so she can open up another area of the level.

why can't the two of you just agree that there is a balance?
I recently watched part of a walk through of the Tomb Raider II and when she gets to Venice she kills every single person she encounters! Admittedly they call come charging at her with guns fully blazing.

you would benefit from studying both the history of families and also the anthropological discussions on various types of moiety structure.
sure, in America the rule is 'free at 18' however in the real world if you don't play ball with your parents they aren't going to give you that trust fund money. They won't cosign your loan. They won't take care of their grandkids.
And in many cases children are declared non-compos mentis and they come under guardianship!
and in certain types of upper class families the children are never actually free of their elders: like if you were born into a criminal family like some monarchies or some of the bankster families, or some of the Cosa Nostra type families. The real world is more complex than you seem to realize.
many people fall off into hard sinning for a time. They never hate or reject Jesus Christ but they don't follow his precepts. And often they equivocate and say "I can't judge them" when dealing with serious immorality like what we find in redlight districts near the big banks.
and yet later in life they have an epipheny and they come to understand what is required of them and they repent and become very awesome Christians.
The puzzles were what I enjoyed the most.
I also very much enjoyed the graphics once the technology caught up with it.
there was one tomb raider where my friend bought it and I went to visit him to play it. He went off to work. I didn't want to have to deal with all the violence so I set it on the easiest level and when the giant crowds of NPC would attack I'd just shoot constantly without really paying attention to what was going on. She made it through it all much quicker and I didn't have to watch all the blood and gore. and then, after everyone was dead, there would be puzzle again. I never bought that version. She was in some kind of Byzantine world in that one.
"you didn't pick me, I picked you"
I can't quote where that is in scripture but I do recall that line.
I've got a better one
explain. I'm ready to hear what you have to say.
you don't dis the owner and gracious host, anon.
Jim's alright by me.
and I've had plenty of soup here in the past so not having some now doesn't bother me at all.

which is probably why they set this place up for us because they know that basically we are all good people.
PS: I figured out in 2003 or so that everything on the computer and on the cell phone was tracked, and that they were tracking my automobile and pretty much doing that to everyone. I told people and they thought I was nuts. But as it turns out I was correct.
If you're not a crazy person who harms others you've got nothing to worry about.
ya, I'm pretty sure if I search Bible Hub I'm not finding that quote.
is it a quote from scripture?
I say no. prove me wrong by citing book, chapter, and verse.
it's ok to be crazy, everyone is from time to time. Just don't be one of those who lashes out and harms others.
so the first line, and I kind of knew that one was in the bible but the rest of it isn't.
good for you, anon. you just keep telling yourself that.
