I think Game Theory refers to a couple things

1. James Madison

2. Q is the 'board.'

Same with Trump at the start.

The board absorbs the losses of the players.

So Q and Trump take our hits.

Heavy lifting.

I'm sure this isn't even close to the depth of it but that seemed striking to me.
