The early somali who came to mn took jobs driving taxis, mainly to and from msp airport, but would refuse to transport ppl with liquor or dogs. Once uber became a thing they went crazy opposing it and screaming rayyycist because ppl felt safer with uber drivers too. Now many are also driving lyft and uber too.

I did some light digging and seems to be in a predominantly black neighborhood, not somali (sauce- me, former resident and Google Maps shows this place “Phyllis Wheatley Community Center” with mostly black children there)
If any somali work there, likely just the drivers of their trucks.

Part of the issue in mn is they live in these areas, clustered, essentially no go zones for non somali.. few whiteys want to venture into these neighborhoods, so they were allowed to run unchecked by the average Joe for years.
