Response to Kiev’s attack on Putin’s residence will not be diplomatic – Moscow

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused Ukraine of targeting the Russian president

Russia’s response to a failed Ukrainian drone attack on President Vladimir Putin’s state residence will not be diplomatic, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that on the night of December 28-29, “the Kiev regime launched a terrorist attack using 91 long-range strike unmanned aerial vehicles on the state residence of the president of the Russian Federation in Novgorod Region.”

He noted that all 91 UAVs were intercepted, with no casualties or material damage reported.

Lavrov noted that while Moscow remains committed to the US-mediated peace process, “Russia’s negotiating position will be revised” in light of Ukraine’s “reckless actions.”

“Targets for retaliatory strikes and the time for their implementation by the Russian Armed Forces have been determined,” the minister warned.

“The answers will not be diplomatic. Let them not get their hopes up,” Zakharova told Russian media late Monday, calling the attempted attack unprecedented. “The unprecedented nature of this attack lies in the fact that it was carried out during the negotiations in the United States… At the very moment, when plans are being discussed, this, excuse me, bloody, rabid, terrorist scum, is undermining peace efforts.”

Kremlin foreign policy aide Yury Ushakov told Russian media that during a phone conversation with Putin on Monday, US President Donald Trump said he was “shocked by this news and expressed outrage, stating that he could not have imagined such crazy actions on the part of Kiev.”

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has denied the attack, claiming Moscow is only seeking a pretext to jeopardize the “progress” made by the US and Ukraine and to attack the government quarter in Kiev.

According to veteran investigative reporter and best selling author, Dr. Jerome Corsi, he was approached three years ago by a group of generals and told that Donald Trump had been recruited by U.S. military intelligence to run in the 2016 Presidential elections, and subsequently help remove corrupt Deep State officials from positions of power. Corsi claims that QAnon represents the same group of senior military intelligence officials who are exposing the Deep State corruption and officials involved in a history of treasonous actions against the U.S. Republic.

Pam Bondi Issues Damage-Control Statement After Explosive Backlash Over DOJ’s Alleged Failure to Act on Massive Minnesota Somali Fraud

After days of mounting outrage from conservatives and independent journalists, Pam Bondi issued what many are calling a damage-control statement in response to growing accusations that the DOJ allegedly sat on one of the largest fraud scandals in modern U.S. history, the billion-dollar Minnesota Somali fraud network that looted taxpayer-funded welfare, daycare, COVID, and Medicaid programs.

The statement came only after independent investigative reporter Nick Shirley exposed the staggering scope of the corruption, centered largely in Minnesota’s Somali nonprofit ecosystem, and after conservatives erupted over the apparent lack of urgency from federal authorities while hundreds of millions vanished.

In her statement, Bondi acknowledged the work of independent journalists and attempted to assure Americans that the United States Department of Justice has been quietly investigating the fraud for months.

"Quality Learing Center" First Domino To Fall As Somali-Linked Minneapolis Daycare Scandal Shocks Nation

Update (2028ET):

The dominoes are beginning to fall in the Democratic-run stronghold of Minneapolis, where federal investigators were on the ground earlier today as part of expanded investigations into childcare centers and other widespread alleged fraud schemes by Somali-linked operators.

By evening, Nick Shirley, the citizen journalist who brought the "empty" childcare companies into the national spotlight with a video that has received 121 million views in just three days, revealed that one of the Somali-linked childcare centers had been shut down by the Minnesota Department of Children.

Lung Cancer? Alarming Study Finds Ultra-Processed Foods Are Even Worse Than Previously Thought

A large U.S. cohort study has found that individuals consuming the highest levels of ultra-processed foods face a significantly greater risk of developing lung cancer, even after adjusting for smoking and other factors.

Research published in the journal Thorax analyzed data from more than 101,000 participants in the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial. Over an average follow-up period of 12 years, researchers identified 1,706 incident cases of lung cancer, including 1,473 cases of non-small cell lung cancer—the slower-growing form—and 233 cases of the more aggressive small cell variant.

Participants in the top quartile of ultra-processed food consumption, adjusted for energy intake, showed a 41% higher risk of lung cancer compared with those in the lowest quartile (hazard ratio 1.41). The associations held for both non-small cell (37% higher risk) and small cell (44% higher risk) subtypes.

Ultra-processed foods typically include items formulated with multiple industrial processes and additives, such as preservatives, emulsifiers and artificial flavors. Examples in the study ranged from ice cream, packaged sauces and confectionery to soft drinks, ready-made burgers, pizza and processed meats. On average, the energy-adjusted ultra-processed food consumption was 2.8 servings per day, with lunch meat contributing 11.1% to total UPF intake, diet or caffeinated soft drinks 7.3%, and decaffeinated soft drinks 6.6%, the study found. UPFs are described as nutritionally poor, with high energy density, low fibre, fewer micronutrients, and excessive sugars, sodium, fats and additives.

Examples:

Sugar-sweetened beverages

Processed meats

Packaged snack cakes & pastries

Instant noodles & boxed meals

Frozen prepared pizzas & entrées

Sugary breakfast cereals

Flavored/sweetened dairy products

Reconstituted meat products

Packaged refined breads & buns

Processed cheese products

The findings build on prior evidence linking ultra-processed foods to a range of adverse health outcomes, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and reduced life expectancy. In the U.S. and Britain, such foods comprise more than half of daily caloric intake for many individuals.

“You can’t say from this study that UPFs cause cancer as it’s observational, so we’re looking at associations, not direct effects. But it does strengthen the case for looking more closely at the food environment many people are living in, where UPFs are cheap, convenient, and heavily marketed, making them a go-to for many,” Rob Hobson, author of Unprocess Your Family Life, told The Independent.

Regenerative Agriculture Finally Has A Seat At The Table At USDA

Something unusual and long overdue recently took place at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Two regenerative agriculture pioneers, Rick Clark of Indiana and Blake Alexander of California, stood alongside Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins as the department announced a new $700 million investment in regenerative agriculture.

Given recent history, skepticism is understandable. Cuts to farm-to-school lunch programs, the rollback of farmer grants funded under the Inflation Reduction Act, and a longstanding lack of consistent support for small and mid-sized family farms have left many producers wary of federal promises. I understand the doubt. Many farmers have learned, the hard way, to expect little.

Still, this moment matters.

As someone who followed RFK Jr. to the White House, I have remained clear-eyed about the limits of his authority at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Agriculture policy does not sit within HHS, and his portfolio is already full. Yet Kennedy has long understood the opportunity that regenerative agriculture presents, not just for farmers but also for public health, environmental resilience, and food quality.

That understanding helped inspire Kelly Ryerson, Rick Clark, and me to co-found American Regeneration, an organization created to educate, inform, and influence this administration, particularly within the MAHA ecosystem, on why soil health must be part of the national agenda.

Over the past year, our team and advisers made eight trips to Washington, meeting with policymakers, submitting memos, and engaging in sustained dialogue. Across those conversations, one conclusion became unavoidable. If policymakers want conventional producers to transition toward regenerative practices, they must fund the transition and tie that funding to measurable outcomes.

For me, seeing this announcement felt like a long-held vision beginning to take shape.

Among its distinguishing features:

It explicitly uses the term “Regenerative Agriculture.”

It relies on a single, streamlined application rather than fragmented enrollment.

It allows bundled conservation practices under a whole-farm plan.

It supports multi-year transitions, not short-term experiments.

It establishes baseline soil testing.

It reflects cross-agency coordination beyond a siloed conservation effort.

Continued funding is tied to demonstrated improvements.

Israel to strip licenses from aid groups in West Bank, Gaza over terror links

The government has begun revoking licenses from several international aid groups operating in the West Bank and Gaza, including Doctors Without Borders, citing refusal to complete legal registration and the employment of staff linked to terror groups

The Israeli government has begun a process to revoke operating licenses from international organizations working in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip after they failed to complete registration procedures required by law. The decision also followed findings that some employees at the organizations were involved in terrorist activity.

The move, led by an interministerial team headed by the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, includes sending formal letters to more than 10 international organizations, among them Doctors Without Borders, known by its French acronym MSF. The letters state that their licenses to operate in Israel will be revoked as of Jan. 1 and that they must wind down their activities by March 1.

Security checks found that employees of Doctors Without Borders were involved in terror activity. In June 2024, an Islamic Jihad operative employed by the organization was killed, and in September, another employee was exposed as having served as a Hamas sniper. In both cases, the organization refrained from providing information about the employees’ identities and roles.

Political and security officials stressed there is no intention to disrupt the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip. They said the organizations facing license revocation account for only a small portion of overall aid, most of which continues to be delivered through other bodies and controlled channels.

No evidence provided as usual.
