NEW😳: Russia’s UVB-76 radio station, known as the “Doomsday Radio,” recently broadcast music from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake several hours after the Kremlin promised retaliation for an alleged assassination attempt on President Putin, blamed on Ukraine by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The music has aired during key Soviet political crises, such as leader deaths and the 1991 coup.
The station also played pro-war Russian songs during this recent transmission, including some calling for nuclear strikes on Ukraine, along with the Nazi march “Erika.”
UVB-76, active since 1975 in the Soviet Union and operated by Russia’s Western Military District until 2023, normally transmits a continuous buzzing tone interrupted occasionally by coded voice messages.
Speculation online connects it to the “Perimeter” system for automatic nuclear retaliation if command communications are lost after an attack.

This development comes less than a day after Ohio attorney Mehek Cooke said federal investigators are examining allegations that elements within Ohio's Somali community defrauded millions of dollars from the state's Medicaid system.
"The first Somali-affiliated daycare facility that we knocked on after landing in Columbus, Ohio, today did not answer," Rubin wrote on X, alongside a video showing the daycare center, Great Minds Learning Academy.
Rubin continued, "A neighbor across the street told us, 'I've never seen anybody come out of the building or go into the building.'"

X users are reporting that a mysterious Russian shortwave radio signal, nicknamed "The Buzzer" and informally known as the "doomsday radio station," that has been continuously broadcasting since the late 1970s, has just transmitted the classical piece Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
UVB-76 is transmitted on 4625 kHz and is occasionally interrupted by Russian voice messages, often containing names, numbers, or coded phrases. These voice messages are rare, irregular, and often nonsensical, making the transmission of Swan Lake highly abnormal.
Western military analysts associate UVB-76 with Russia's military communications and strategic command infrastructure. It reportedly remains operational as a fail-safe in the event that satellites, fiber, or cellular networks are disrupted.
The broadcasting of Swan Lake, a four-act ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and premiered in 1877 in Moscow, on UVB-76 could be interpreted as a mistake or operator error, a test transmission, accidental audio bleed from equipment at the transmitter site, or even signal hijacking
Fun fact, Swan Lake was repeatedly broadcast across Soviet state television during the August Coup in August 1991.

Gang member Harri Pullen, 27, had been in a relationship with jail nurse Elyse Hibbs, 27, and engaged in phone sex with prison officer Ruth Shmylo, 26, over a four-year period in HMP Parc, Bridgend, Wales.
He was later freed from prison only to be caught dealing drugs on an e-bike just months later on April 2 this year.
