A leaked Signal group chat has exposed deep ties between Democrat officials, including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, and radical anti-ICE activists in Minneapolis.

The private messaging group, called “MN ICE Watch,” has allegedly been used to coordinate protests, issue marching orders, and even dox federal ICE agents during the ongoing protests and riots in Minneapolis.

Names of the group’s administrators were leaked after the group was infiltrated by conservative independent journalist Cam Higby and posted to X.

“I have infiltrated organizational signal groups all around Minneapolis with the sole intention of tracking down federal agents and impeding/assaulting/and obstructing them,” Higby wrote at the start of a lengthy thread of screenshots and videos from the chat. Continue…

A former nurse made a plea agreement, pleading no contest after a slew of child abuse charges were brought against her.

Erin Strotman, 27, worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, where from 2022 through 2024, she allegedly inflicted harm on nine children, adding up to 20 charges.

Judge Richard Wallerstein Jr. accepted the plea deal, which includes a maximum sentence of three years in prison despite such heinous crimes.

KVVU-TV reported the prosecution showed footage in court of Strotman “placing her full body weight on the infant who was crying in distress.” The case against her began in late 2024 when hospital staff found three pre-term babies had bone fractures that couldn’t be explained.

Virginia Democrats Push Bill to Eliminate Mandatory Minimum Sentences for Rape, Manslaughter, Child Pornography, and Other Violent Crimes

Virginia Democrats have introduced House Bill 863 (HB 863), which seeks to remove mandatory minimum prison sentences for a slew of serious offenses, including rape, manslaughter, child pornography possession and distribution, assault on law enforcement officers, and repeat violent felonies.

The bill, sponsored by Democrat Delegate Rae Cousins, was filed shortly after the new Democrat-controlled General Assembly convened under Governor Abigail Spanberger.

The legislation amends over 30 sections of the Virginia Code, striking language that imposes mandatory minimum sentences for these crimes.

For example, under current law, rape carries a mandatory minimum in cases involving minors or certain aggravating factors, such as life imprisonment for raping a child under 13 if the offender is over 18. HB 863 would eliminate these floors, allowing judges full discretion to impose sentences as low as probation or suspended time, while keeping maximum penalties intact.

Similar changes were made to the laws regarding forcible sodomy, object sexual penetration, aggravated involuntary manslaughter, and child pornography offenses.

Supporters of the changes argue that the bill promotes “fairer outcomes” by ending “one-size-fits-all” sentencing and giving judges greater flexibility in individual cases.

Critics, however, warn that the changes could endanger public safety by allowing violent offenders back on the streets sooner. Continue…

“It’s a shame I have to say this in America, but no one is above the law,” Hochul said. “Not an ICE agent, not a federal officer, not the president of the United States.”

The governor said that once the Trump administration is out of office, “states including New York will hold them accountable.”

“Make no mistake, when these people who have abused the power entrusted to them by their offices are finally out of power, states, including New York, will hold them accountable,” she asserted.

Other exports, including Canadian canola meal, lobsters, crabs, and peas will also not be subject to Chinese anti-discrimination tariffs until at least the end of 2026.
