Can't go to a fucking Walmart and buy a slingshot band without showing an ID card, can't buy a beer at the DG without them wanting to scan your ID card, can't go to the tobacco store to buy cigarettes without them wanting to scan ID card.

If you are receiving taxpayer assistance, there should be no problem showing ID for the transactions. Don't like it they can buy their own damn food, with their own damn money. No slippery slope about it.
