They are using the podcast as a pretext to communicate with each other in the background during the Grand Conspiracy investigation.

Dearlove is the boss of Christopher Steele (author of the dossier), and a friend and business partner of CIA operative Stefan Halper.

 

Steele and Halper were the two FBI Confidential Human Sources on the Crossfire Hurricane “investigation” of the Trump campaign, run by Comey and McCabe.
