Anons (and bakers and BVs) have been slacking of late. People have gotten too comfortable now that POTUS is back in office, but this is a marathon not a sprint. That 21% on the top in the donate box is a very real shortfall. 8kun's advertising group had announced last month that there wasn't more than a month's worth of money left to pay bills, but I guess that didn't get properly communicated. It should have become obvious that all the bugs aren't getting fixed as a side effect, especially the 14k image limitation.
You should be aware that there is a new method of donating by purchasing a banner advertisement at the top of the page; this is more aimed at businesses, as it is a higher tier than the $200 proto, but it isn't like anybody is really going to stop you if you buy 30 days of your favorite meme. This site easily breaks 200k impressions per month. (and easily over 1k users per day) If everyone were to have simply bought the $5/mo proto way back when this whole funds thing first happened we never would have gotten into this mess in the first place. Instead we're here because a small handful of us have been working together to try and keep this place afloat. You know where the donation links are. Some people send cash money or travelers checks. Sometimes your bank isn't run by assholes and you can actually use it, that's great. You want to send goldbacks or silver bullion, i'm pretty sure that's fine too, they'll take whatever they can get. The best way is to buy proto if your back lets you do it.
