NEW: Violinist Brian King Joseph, who competed as a finalist on "America's Got Talent" in 2018, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on December 30 accusing Will Smith of sexual harassment and deliberately grooming him for sexual exploitation.

Joseph claims Smith hired him for his "Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour" after a December 2024 performance and expressed their special connection, telling Joseph he didn't have that connection with anyone else. The two allegedly spent additional time together working on tracks for Smith's upcoming album.

During the tour's March 2025 Las Vegas stop, Joseph discovered unauthorized items in his hotel room booked by Smith's team, including a handwritten note addressed to him by name stating "Brian, I'll be back no later 5:30, just us" with a drawn heart and signed "Stone F." Other items included wipes, a beer bottle, HIV medication with someone else's name, an earring, and hospital discharge papers. Joseph immediately contacted hotel security and local police.

Days later, Smith's team allegedly blamed Joseph for fabricating the incident. Tim Miller, acting on behalf of Smith, told Joseph that everyone claimed the incident was a lie and demanded to know why he made it up. Joseph was then terminated and replaced with another violinist.

The lawsuit alleges pretextual termination and claims Joseph suffered severe emotional distress, PTSD, and health deterioration from the incident. Smith's representatives have not commented. The suit follows a separate $3 million claim against Jada Pinkett Smith by a former associate.
