I wonder if the shills would ever have the balls to only use one device and one ID per bread. Probably not, they're weak enough as it is with all their fake they throw at the board and the anons on it.

He seems more a perfectionist and that's what people probably perceive as douchyness from my point of view. Could be the level he made it to as well, that can change a person and may have made it seem like that to those not in his social circle. Not going to lie, I was all over Napster in the early 2000's and I was a little pissed at him for his stance on it and it getting shut down because of that. But, here's the thing, with hindsight being 20/20 and all, it makes sense now where he was coming from then. He was one of the few that led the charge on that shit for musicians.

Yeah, I've been listening to that guy's stuff since '89 when a friend said, "Check this out! He makes his guitar sound like a car starting and taking off." Was blown away the first time I heard Ice 9. Couldn't believe you could get sounds like that out of a guitar. He's the guy that inspired me to pick up that instrument when I was a teen. Then I severed tendons when I was 20 in my hands so gave up the guitar after about about 4 years into it. Fingers just couldn't move the way they used to. They still all work, but not quickly so fretting and finger-picking is all fucky.

I mean, the sounds that Satriani got out of a guitar blew my 15-year-old mind, but then I heard Vai's solo stuff for the first time and that same disbelief happened again. I've always wondered if he makes any mead or metheglin with the honey he gets from his bee hives.

I didn't get into Eddie's stuff until later. Ice 9 was the Eruption that eargasmed my ears, I was only like 4 when Eruption came out so it didn't have the same effect on me like it did for other people back then after listening to Satriani and Vai.
