I just saw this again from 1978 and it got me thinking…

Dorothy Fuldheim, credited with being the first woman in the United States to anchor a television news broadcast as well to host her own television show, referred to as the "First Lady of Television News… shows just how disconnected from reality she is, claiming no one is homeless or goes hungry in the US.

How are so many in "news" so unaware of reality? Is it because they aren't journalists but actors who report what they're told?
