Hilton Moves Fast To Nuke "Rogue" Franchisee As Hotel Continues Banning DHS Agents

Update (Tuesday):

Hilton Hotels wasted no time in the past 24 hours in curbing a rogue franchisee under the Hampton Inn brand called “Hampton Inn by Hilton Lakeville” - just outside of downtown Minneapolis - after news broke Monday that the independently owned hotel had rejected reservations from anyone affiliated with the Department of Homeland Security.

Uproar on X prompted Hilton to take immediate action, recognizing that boycott calls on the platform could tarnish its overall brand, especially given that the hotel in question was a rogue franchisee.

By Tuesday morning, Hilton said the independent hotel owner had assured them the problem had been fixed and had published a message confirming it.

However, a video posted earlier by citizen journalist Nick Sortor suggested that the hotel's independent owners effectively "wanted the FULL Bud Light treatment at this point."

This prompted Hilton to state, "A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values. As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems."

X user Dustin Snider then asked two important questions to Hilton:

I notice the wording on this says you’re removing this one hotel from your systems. Does this owner have other properties with Hilton? Are they going to be allowed back as a Hilton franchise in two weeks, or when they sell it to their cousins for zero dollars and then reapply for a franchise?

Hilton Hotels is in damage-control mode after Homeland Security posted on X an email showing that a Hilton property in the Minneapolis area canceled a reservation for federal agents amid a large-scale operation to identify, arrest, and remove illegal alien criminals from Tim Walz's state.

"NO ROOM AT THE INN!" DHS wrote on X, alleging that the hotel chain "launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement."

The agency continued, "When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations."

"This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation's immigration laws?" DHS concluded in the post.

Lt. Michael Byrd Who Shot Ashli Babbitt Dead on Jan. 6, 2021 in Cold Blood, Runs an ‘Unaccredited’ Day-Care Center in Maryland at His Home and Has Pocketed $190 Million in HHS Funds

In one of his autopen’s last acts before Joe Biden left office was to pardon Capt. Mike Byrd, the DC officer who shot and killed January 6 protester Ashli Babbitt in cold blood during the protests on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021.

As TGP’s Brian Lupo noted, video evidence captured Byrd shooting an unarmed Babbitt without warning as she attempted to climb through a narrow window near a barricaded entryway to the Speaker of the House’s office area in the U.S. Capitol.

Following an investigation, Byrd was cleared of any wrongdoing, although questions remain about the escalation to lethal force without attempts to subdue or detain Babbitt.

In the video, other armed law enforcement officers are visible in the background, appearing available to provide backup if needed.

In addition to Byrd leaving his Glock 22 service weapon in a Visitor’s Center bathroom in February 2019, Byrd also had his police powers revoked on several occasions for failing to meet semi-annual firearms qualifications standards.

Byrd expressed defiance after being pressed about killing Babbitt during a NBC interview months following the killing. He claimed that he saved “countless lives” by killing Babbitt.

He also whined that he has been getting death threats since killing the Air Force veteran. The officer said that it was “disheartening” and that he was simply “doing my job.”

Four-Star General Confirms to Senate He Would ‘Execute’ Order to Attack Americans on U.S. Soil

A Four-Star U.S. General has stated under oath that he would “definitely execute” an order to attack American citizens on American soil.

General Guillot, a nominee to lead CENTCOM, made this chilling admission during a Senate Armed Forces Committee hearing in response to a direct question from Senator Jack Reed. This exchange occurred following a White House memorandum on “Countering Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence,” which grants the federal government broad authority to “disrupt” entities it deems a threat.

Consequently, this testimony confirms that a high-ranking military officer would use force against U.S. citizens without trial, provided he deems the order lawful. A White House memorandum issued on September 25, 2025, titled “Countering Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence,” directs the National Joint Terrorism Task Force to create a “comprehensive national strategy to investigate, prosecute and disrupt” groups the government deems engaged in political violence.

Furthermore, the memorandum grants federal agencies the authority to “consult and coordinate with executive departments and agencies” and “request operational assistance from law enforcement partners” to counter these designated groups. Therefore, this policy establishes the official groundwork for the federal government to take action against domestic political organizations, creating a legal pathway for the military to act against American citizens.

The Testimony: An Order to Attack Americans

When asked directly if he would attack a designated domestic terrorist organization on U.S. soil, General Guillot confirmed his willingness to do so if he believed the order was lawful. During the hearing, Senator Jack Reed asked, “If the president declared an organization a terrorist organization or DTO, which is on a secret list, and you were ordered to attack them on US soil, would you carry out that order?”

General Guillot responded, “Senator Reed, as with any order I get, I would assess the order, consult the legal authorities to ensure that it was a lawful order… And if I had no concerns and I was confident in the lawful order, I would definitely execute that order.” Thus, the General’s response confirms that a legal justification alone suffices for the U.S. military to conduct operations against American citizens within the United States, effectively bypassing traditional due process, as The Intercept reported.

Refusing to face tough questions, Netanyahu blackballs media to public’s detriment

PM keeps reporters off his taxpayer-funded plane, doesn’t give briefings to the traveling press and access is increasingly politicized — all ahead of a critical election

Through his five meetings with President Donald Trump in the US over the past year, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has deftly guided the bilateral relationship through substantive disagreements on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Israel.

He has also damaged Israel’s ability to achieve similar victories in the future by steadily undermining the ability of Israel’s traveling press corps to cover his taxpayer-funded travels.

No matter where one stands on Netanyahu — and the conversation around Israel’s longest-serving leader is nothing if not polarizing — the dwindling press access at his direction should dismay and worry those who care about Israel’s future.

The prime minister’s overseas trips are of utmost importance for the future and security of Israel. Netanyahu’s five flights to the US this year enabled him to cement a close and extremely productive relationship with the world’s most powerful man.

As the prime minister put it on Monday, the most recent trip “contributed to strengthening the dual relationship — both between Israel and the United States, and, of course, the personal relationship between us.”

Israel’s public and its supporters around the world have a right to know what is happening on these trips, and not just from the mouths of government spokespeople liable to spin the narrative in the prime minister’s favor.

Netanyahu’s new official plane Wing of Zion, which cost the public over $200 million to purchase and outfit, and which costs taxpayers over $200,000 each time it makes a transatlantic flight, has a dedicated press section in the back for journalists covering official trips to ride along. As with the American Air Force One, the press delegation is meant to join these trips to let the voting public know how their elected representatives spend their time when traipsing abroad on the public’s dime.

Unfortunately, Netanyahu has decided not to bring the traveling press corps on Wing of Zion on the last two trips to the US, including the recent visit to Mar-a-Lago. Instead of receiving images and details of the trip from reporters with access, the Israeli public is instead forced to rely on whatever limited and curated information is released by government spokespeople.

Israel’s reporters scramble to find suitable flights at the last minute to cover the visits as best they can, and their effectiveness is limited.

Foreign media group fumes as Israeli government says Gaza press ban must be upheld

Foreign Press Association urges Supreme Court judges to put an end to ‘charade’; EU condemns decision to ban dozens of aid groups from entering enclave

An international media association on Tuesday criticized the Israeli government for maintaining its ban on unrestricted media access to Gaza, calling the move disappointing, at the same time as foreign nations continued to keep the heat on Israel over its decision to bar dozens of nonprofit organizations from operating in the enclave.

Israel’s barring of foreign media and decision to halt the work of 37 NGOs inside the Strip come nearly three months into a tenuous ceasefire, and as conditions remain dire for many of the war-torn enclave’s 2.3 million residents.

The government told the Supreme Court in a submission late Sunday that the ban on foreign journalists should remain in place, citing security risks in the Gaza Strip.

The submission was in response to a petition filed by the Foreign Press Association (FPA) — which represents hundreds of journalists in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza — seeking immediate and unrestricted access for foreign journalists to the Gaza Strip.

“The Foreign Press Association expresses its profound disappointment with the Israeli government’s latest response to our appeal for full and free access to the Gaza Strip,” the association said on Tuesday.

“Instead of presenting a plan for allowing journalists into Gaza independently and letting us work alongside our brave Palestinian colleagues, the government has decided once again to lock us out,” despite the ceasefire in the enclave, it added.
