True story:
I send my mom a link to funny James Woods tweet. She thinks she needs to sign up to twitter to see it or something…maybe she just wanted to reply and be apart of the conversation. She's been on facebook for years, but not really the most tech savvy nor very savvy about online culture war and the associated tactics. Anyway, she makes and account and either replies or more likely just filled out the hello world first tweet they try to make you write upon signing up. It was something to the extent of "Thanks Trump for bring back conservative values" or something tame like that. She's pretty old school traditional, so it certainly couldn't have been anything very shocking. Immediately, her account was blocked and cancelled. When she told me, I just laughed and said "welcome to the storm"!
