Secretary Noem: Sanctuary policies, whether they're here in New York City, whether they're in California, Illinois, or Minneapolis; if you are a criminal illegal alien, we are coming to get you. We will arrest you, we will bring justice, and we will also bring safety to the American people. We are warning anyone, if you think you can harm an individual, a citizen of the United States or a law enforcement officer, we will find you and bring you to justice. If you lay a finger on one of our officers, we will catch you, we will prosecute you, and you will feel the full extent of the law.

Secretary Noem: Let's remember the events that surrounded what happened yesterday on that tragic situation, was that these individuals had followed our officers all day, had harassed them, had blocked them in. They were impeding our law enforcement operations, which is against the law, and when they demanded and commanded her to get out of her vehicle several times, she did not.
Secretary Noem: I'm not going to get specific to this officer, but he's an experienced officer that has served a number of years, and we recognize that he acted according to his training, and we expect that all the policies and procedures of review will be exactly that he acted appropriately to protect his life and the life of his colleagues and fellow law enforcement officers that were there, and people surrounding.
Secretary Noem: Minnesota's a train wreck. It is corrupt, and it is under the leadership of Governor Walz and this mayor, that they allowed it to happen, and they let criminals and illegals, and people abuse programs and steal the money, and now they're allowing violence to go forward on the streets as well.
Secretary Noem: We've had almost; over a hundred times that these vehicles have been used to ram law enforcement officers, and to do damage and to harm them. When you take an action and use a weapon to harm someone and to incite violence against them, and try to cause an injury or death, then it needs to be labeled exactly what it was.
Good was the leader of an 'impede caravan', with the intent to disrupt operations of federal law enforcement. That is the very definition of sedition.

LIVE: Governor Walz holds press conference
Governor Walz: Yesterday, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the BCA, spent the day yesterday attempting to get that accountability. We have learned the Trump administration has now decided that ability to participate in the the investigation. And I just want to make this as clear as possible to everyone, Minnesota must be part of this investigation.

Governor Walz: I will just say there were two incidents yesterday I saw that just tore at my soul I saw an individual at the scene identify themselves as medical personnel, a physician, and asked to provide aid, and an ICE agent said, 'I do not care'. That lack of humanity was chilling to me.

Governor Walz: We're not gonna win this through violence. We're gonna win it through justice. We're gonna win it thorough compassion. We're gonna win it through Minnesota nice. And we're gonna win it by holding every one of these people accountable, as they should, for what we've seen on the streets of Minneapolis.
A vehicle is a deadly weapon, and Good accelerated toward an agent.. She would not have been shot fleeing if there wasn't an agent in front of the vehicle.
Under case law, if the vehicle is speeding toward an officer, it can be treated as a lethal weapon.
