So then, the word of the Lord to them will become:

a little here, a little there"—

so that as they go they will fall backward;

they will be injured and snared and captured.

 

Perhaps if the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave wasn't in reality the land of lawlessness and home of officer cowardice…

“The freedom of individuals verbally to oppose or challenge police action without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state.” - US Supreme Court in 8-1 majority opinion in 1987's Houston v Hill when they invalidated as unconstitutional a Houston TX ordinance that read " “It shall be unlawful for any person to assault, strike or in any manner oppose, molest, abuse or interrupt any policeman in the execution of his duty, or any person summoned to aid in making an arrest.”
