Passing thought. Though not intended to slide, guessing it might be used for one.

I recall, perhaps around the beginning of his show Conspiracy, Jesse Ventura explaining something that happened to him after he was elected Governor of Minnesota. As I recall it, and my memory may have changed the facts, he said he was called into some star-chamber room where a group of people let him know, in no uncertain terms, what he could/couldn't and would/wouldn't do while in office. Perhaps that's online somewhere.

I've never forgotten the story or how it came across sincere to me. Here was a beast of dude, ex-special forces, admitting he was not in control though he had been duly elected. Later he moved to Mexico, where I think he still resides.

Was it all a put-on to help promote his show? No clue.

What complicated everything later, and basically neutered his message, was defending a comment made by Chris Kyle (sic?, aka American Sniper.

I'm very tuned into the clever play on people's emotions, muh migrant children being separated from their families, muh President Trump called a few developing countries "shit holes," muh Trump removed the MLK, Jr., bust from the Oval Office……muh he said "he grabs women by the…(which, of course he didn't), muh he made fun of a disabled reporter!!!

I have relatives who are so far gone with the brainwashing and mockingbird propaganda that, were the world revert to a heavenly state, they would still find a way to disparage President Trump and credit bho's policies for what has occurred.

Again, all a passing thought. I take him at his word, I've spent hours watching both people in interviews, and the result has been, to some degree, muh Jesse's a bitch for what Kyle "overheard him say about the Seal community" and, as if a well crafted smear, Jesse's rapid political ascendency being derailed.

Thanks for the reply. Got pulled away here.

Yes, Ventura's claim remained in effect after Kyle's murder. Though the same forces tried to change the narrative to Jesse now suing Kyle's widow and their children, to my understanding it was against the estate in some way where it didn't directly affect them, but was tailored to go after any royalties from the sale of Chris' book.

I do recall Jesse explaining that, though there was a multi-day trial, and the jury ruled in Ventura's favor, it was overturned on appeal by some bullshit about the jury hearing a brief comment or two, and poisoning the well. Though that CAN and does happen, often very justifiably, as Jesse tells it, the opinion was very dishonest and a perversion of the trial. They twisted the law to backdoor overturning the jury's decision. He talks about what happened, both at the Seal bar, and the circumstances of the trial. Easily found online. I don't know where the case stands now.

Basically, and I believe him, Jesse really only wanted a retraction, and a private apology for what Kyle said Jesse said, leading to Chris flooring him with one punch.

What bothers me is this. Jesse was speaking about things, similar to what we dig here, but he was shut-down, and an attempt was made to destroy his reputation and ability to work. Nobody gave him work after that.

If Hillary had won, it's my belief she would have attempted to destroy Trump, and send him to prison, in the same fashion.

Jesse flew out there to participate in a Seal reunion/graduation ceremony the next day. What he is alleged to have said simply defies any reasonable explanation. On the other hand, it's public record Chris embellished his record and the service medals he won, even though military editors advised him to correct the draft of his book before it was published. He didn't.
