No, Achmed. A car used as a deadly weapon is functionally and legally no different than a gun used as a deadly weapon. When you aim a gun/car at someone it now changes you to a deadly threat and you must be disarmed and the threat stopped. This is codified into law in all 50 states.

You can’t say ‘ oh sorry, I was threatening people with my gun/car just a moment ago but I’m good now so go away’, with her finger still on the trigger/foot on the gas pedal.

 

It doesn’t matter what you FEEL. The functional and legal reality matters.
