A 50-meter swim is just one full back and forth lap in a standard sized pool, I was doing that before 10. A 10 foot tower jump, not sure what I'd be jumping to, either ground or water, but that's easy enough, still confident enough at 51 to do it without breaking something. The shedding gear underwater in 10 seconds? Yeah, that's probably what'd give me the most issues, pretty sure I wouldn't be able to do 10 seconds on the first try.
I'm assuming treading water with full gear on. That's similar to the swimming lessons as a kid where you had to tread water for a certain time with your street clothes on, can't remember how long it'd be, but treading water is easy and doesn't require much expenditure of energy.
Yeah, cold water can fuck you up if it's close to freezing, mess with your head and shit and slow your limbs, in that case you need to think about generating body heat along with staying above water.
I've done that more than a few times, from sauna to a quick dip in a hole cut in a lake and then run my ass back to where it's warm. Haven't for about a decade and a half though.
