All the rats are jumping the sinking conservative ship; they are done. They will never gain power again for at least 20 or 30 years. Reform will just be the same if all those traitors are joining the party; people will not vote for them.
He was useless, he is a career politician out for what he can get, no doubt looking to end up in the Lords, not to serve the country or constituents. He has shown he is neither loyal or trustworthy with the Boris debacle. Not a good move from The Reform Party. They need more local British business men that have served their local communities, not themselves.
