Does the Ayatollah understand that this is not going to be a defensive posture? Do they realize if things go south, Saudi Arabia or Iraq will eventually take over the oil, if full chaos breaks out? Does the Ayatollah understand that he could be targeted too? Think Kaddafi and Saddam; America doesn't want to see that happen to him, their country, nor their livelihood. I gave him an out with converting to Christianity and Democracy, it is what the people protested for, and he can never take that back, it will always loom. A Democracy will still allow Islam to a degree but not totalitarian. When millions of your people take to the streets a wise man would reconcile and pay his due just wages, not incite more anger, violence, and retribution. He should stop blaming the entirety on Israel and the US, this is not a couple of hundred protestors, millions is undeniable. Maybe the US should at least a coalition of other Arab states to at least chime in.
