SMART IDEA, Anon.

Self-identification lets the enemy stealthily stalk you and gain the upper hand, so lie low with the rest of us.

Me? I'm a proud gun owner for 20 years and never been in any trouble ever. I have often wanted to put NRA bumper stickers on my vehicle but once I do that, I open myself up to trouble.

In some cases, I've heard of people being falsely accused of brandishing a waeapon whlie driving. Then the polilce show up and take the weapon away, and due process follows much, much later (at a very high cost).

All it would take is for some nefarious libtard to see the NRA sticker and phone 911. "A guy in a blue truck just waved a gun at me." Next thing you know, the poor bastard with the NRA sticker on his truck is pulled over. If by chance he happens to be carrying that day, BOOM, the caller's claim is "validated" in the cop's mind, and the guy gets in trouble.

Screw that. Why let the enemy even know who were are out in the real world? LIE LOW. BE STEALTH. Take heart knowing that GOD knows who you are, who you support, and what you're doing.

In the midst of THE STORM, having God know who we are is more than enough. . . . .

With all due respect, Anon, guns are perfectly legal.

Everyone I know who is licensed to possess, own, and conceal firearms does so. Carrying while driving is not only smart but also necessary, given that most of us have to drive from place to place.

A knife versus a gun? Patriots carry lawful guns. A gun is much safer because you can defend against an attacker from a distance. With a knife you have much more of a chance of getting stabbed, yourself, and you cannot use the knife until the attacker is already touching you.

Screw knives. Carry guns, if you are qualified to do so under the law.

So? What's the big deal? I've had concealed carry licenses in the majority of states for many years.

I've been pulled over a couple of times while carrying. When that's happened all I do is:

  1. turn off the engine after I pull over;

  1. turn ON the interior dome light if it's nighttime;

  1. grab license and registration and put them on passenger seat where the officer can see them;

  1. roll down my driver's side window;

  1. put both hands over the steering wheel (i.e., lean my arms on steering wheel with wrists touching and hands loose);

  1. say, "Hi Officer. I want to tell you something. I have a lawful license to carry concealed and, at the moment, I am carrying on my right hip. I just wanted to inform you."

BOOM.

Whenever I have done that the officer is extremely happy that I did that. They say, "Thank you for letting me know. There's no need for you to remove the weapon but just relax and let me tell you why I pulled you over."

Both times I was let go with a mere warning. The officers (both times) thanked me for fully disclosing.

So we're in the system as being permit holders, Anon. It makes sense to be fully honest abouot thet when pulled over.
