With President Donald Trump visiting Wilkes-Barre for a rally Thursday, federal law enforcement officials on Wednesday released a reminder that a man who allegedly threatened to kill the president remains on the run in Pennsylvania.

On Wednesday, the FBI and U.S. marshals said it is now believed Christy is driving a gray or silver 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with a Pennsylvania license plate of SV-21749. It was stolen Sunday in Butler Township, Luzerne County, authorities said. It has yellow and black "School Students" decals on the hood and tailgate, the FBI said. It has ROHRER in red on the front doors and the number 0870 on the right quarter panel, left quarter panel and under one of the headlights, the FBI said.

Agents and marshals "are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings" of Christy, who authorities charge recently stole three guns and "is considered armed and dangerous," according to a news release.

Shawn Christy, 26, who grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in Schuylkill County, is wanted for failure to appear on aggravated assault charges in Schuylkill County and a probation violation in Northampton County, the Associated Press reported. He's also accused of threatening Trump, Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli and the police via social media, authorities have said.

>"Keep it up Morganelli, I promise I'll put a bullet in your head as soon as <I put one in the head of President Donald J. Trump," Christy is alleged to have posted.

The FBI is offering a reward up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Christy. Anyone who knows where he is can call the FBI at 215-418-4000.

Christy is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes, the FBI said.

Remarks:

Christy may be in possession of several stolen handguns. He may now be clean-shaven.

Caution:

Shawn Christy, of McAdoo, Pennsylvania, is wanted for allegedly threatening to harm and/or kill a police chief, other law enforcement officers, a district attorney, and President Donald J. Trump. Christy allegedly posted the threats on Facebook between June 3 and 12, 2018, saying that he was going to shoot President Trump in the head, and was going to use “lethal force” on any law enforcement officer attempting to detain him. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Christy by the United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on June 19, 2018, after he was charged with Interstate Communication of Threats and Threats Against the President of the United States.
