Best not to have our troops in harms way if it can be avoided, I work for them.
I have confidence in PDJT and the US Mil, but if they would convert to a Democracy as the people wanted, it could avoid bloodshed, of their people and their troops mainly. The Ayatollah will always have a million person uprising that he can never ignore. His people spoke, he could still do the right thing if he was smart, create a Democracy where they could at least have an Islamic presence although not totalitarian, and part of the deal that he should request in return is that no former Iranian Royalty be part of the new equation. I think that would be agreeable, to the vast majority of people. A new beginning, with a right to pursue happiness, without civil war.
