Migrant welfare recipients called out for funding TERROR GROUPS overseas with taxpayer dollars
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is warning that the federal government is about to crack down on migrant welfare recipients who send money overseas — and BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is shocked that it was ever allowed in the first place.
“And from now on, anyone who wires money out from one of these money service businesses has to check a box saying whether they are on public assistance. And if you are on public assistance, we are going to start pushing that you cannot wire money out of the country,” Bessent told Laura Ingraham on Fox News.
“Well, what if they lie and they don’t tell us they’re on public assistance?” Ingraham asked. “That’s a crime, lying on a federal form.”
“We’re going to follow it up, and we are going to push that you can no longer do that. The American people, our generosity has been taken advantage of,” he responded.
“Our generosity is funding al-Shabaab and Iranian interests. … This is really bad,” Ingraham chimed in.
“The money is supposed to go for alleged asylum seekers and their families and children, and if you were wiring the money out of the country, one of two things must be true: You are getting too much money and your benefits should be cut, or you are part of this conspiracy,” Bessent said firmly.
“If the federal taxpayers are paying for you to live here, you’re not allowed to send their money. It’s not even your money. Their money, my money, you’re not allowed to send overseas. That should not be controversial at all,” Gonzales comments on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”
“If you are so broke that you need taxpayer dollars, you are not allowed to send it overseas. You’re not allowed to send it to your family overseas. You’re not allowed to send it to terror groups overseas. You’re not allowed to send it to anybody overseas,” she continues.
And the amount of immigrants receiving benefits from taxpaying American citizens is not a small number.
“You’ve got over half of immigrant-headed households that receive cash, food, medical care, or housing benefits from taxpayers. Over half, according to the Center for Immigration Studies,” Gonzales says.
“We know that over half of these people are taking more than they are bringing to the table,” she continues, pointing out that money sent or brought back by migrants is “almost three times as much as global foreign aid.”
“Look at that chart: 822 billion versus 288 billion in foreign aid. … This is just these people coming here, taking from us, and then sending it back home or sending it to their favorite terror group,” she adds.

Iran FM calls riots ‘Daesh-style crimes,’ extension of US-Israeli war

Antisemitism is about to become a criminal offence under the proposed Combatting Antisemitism Hate and Extremism Bill
Until very recently, wearing a T-shirt that said “Fuck Israel fuck Zionism” in public was legally dull. Crude. Offensive. Unpopular in polite company. But constitutionally protected.
In 2024 the Federal Court made the line explicit. Criticism of Israel or Zionism is not antisemitism. One targets a state and an ideology. The other targets a people. Conflating them is legally wrong and constitutionally dangerous.
That distinction sat inside Australia’s implied freedom of political communication. You could be angry. You could be offensive. You could say things that made powerful people uncomfortable. That was the point.
Today that line is being erased.
The Albanese government is introducing the Combatting Antisemitism Hate and Extremism Act 2026 into Parliament.
It is sold as protection. It operates as control.
Under this law, clothing is no longer just expression. It is conduct. A T-shirt is not an opinion. It is an act. Your chest becomes a regulated surface.
The Act expands criminal vilification to include national origin. Israel is a nation-state. That alone pulls political criticism into criminal territory. Zionism is treated in public discourse as inseparable from Jewish identity, whether critics accept that framing or not. The law does not care what you mean. It cares how a hypothetical reasonable person might feel.
Not actually feel. Hypothetically.
A ‘reasonable person’
The Act is explicit. It does not matter whether anyone was intimidated. It does not matter whether harm occurred. If a reasonable person could feel fear or intimidation, the threshold is met.
That is not law anchored in harm. It is law anchored in vibes.
This is how the “fuck Israel fuck Zionism” shirt moves overnight from protected political speech to something police can order removed, seize, record, investigate, and prosecute. Not because it calls for violence. Not because it threatens anyone. But because it offends in the wrong direction.
Now comes the farce that exposes the whole structure.
Consider the Joy Division T shirt.
The band name is a direct reference to Nazi camp brothels. This is not interpretation. It is historical fact. Ugly. Loaded. Uncomfortable.

And yet Anthony Albanese has worn one publicly. Down airplane stairs. On camera. Smiling. No police interest. No public safety panic. No suggestion that Jewish Australians might feel intimidated. Apparently, Nazi references are fine when they come with a record collection and executive power.
Now put that exact same shirt on a protester at a pro-Palestinian march.
Nothing about the shirt changes. The cotton does not mutate. The history does not shift. The reference does not soften.
What changes is the wearer.
Suddenly the shirt is no longer culture. It is context. It appears at a protest critical of Israel. Jewish Australians are now a foreseeable audience. The historical Nazi association becomes relevant.
A reasonable person could feel intimidated.
That is all the law needs.
Police can direct the protester to remove or cover the shirt. They can eject them from the march. They can seize it. They can record the incident. If the protester refuses or the moment escalates, a charge becomes thinkable.
The maximum penalty runs into years of prison.
Not because anyone believes the protester is a Nazi. Not because violence followed. Not because intent was proven. But because context has been criminalised and discretion now does the heavy lifting.
This is not accidental. It is the design.

A senior US State Department official has taken aim at new hate speech laws in Australia, claiming one detail could cause 'deeply perverse' outcomes.
Sarah Rogers, the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, raised concerns over a clause in the Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill.
It will become a federal offence to publicly promote or incite racial hatred that makes a person feel intimidated, harassed, or unsafe.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese intends to bring in the new law in the wake of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack on December 14.
Activist Drew Pavlou said on X there was a clause in the proposed legislation that exempts people who directly quote from religious texts, providing a loophole for extremists while potentially criminalising legitimate criticism of government policy.
'The Australian government now plans to introduce five year prison sentences for amorphous acts of "hate speech" - defined in such broad terms that it might cover even the most basic calls to lower migration or deport jihadist extremists,' he wrote.
'Meanwhile the Australian government have introduced a special carve out clause in the hate speech legislation to allow Muslim extremists to continue preaching hate so long as they can argue that they are directly quoting or referencing the Quran.'
Rogers shared the post and said she hoped 'this isn't what Australia intends'.
A statute that imprisons you for calling to deport jihadist extremists – but provides safe harbor if you are a jihadist extremist – would be deeply perverse,' she wrote.
'This could be a clumsy effort to avoid the disgraces seen in Europe+UK, where citizens are jailed for quoting the Bible or even praying silently.
'But the problem with 'hate speech' laws – one problem of many – is that they're enforced by the kinds of people who coddle actual violent zealots, so long as they seem subaltern.'
Rogers described 'religious freedom' as a 'core value of our administration'.
'But protecting speech only if it's religious, while arresting people for secular rejoinders, may distort the public sphere in ways that even progressive censorship enthusiasts dislike,' she wrote.
A spokeswoman for Attorney-General Michelle Rowland defended the legislation.
'The Albanese government's proposed legislation will crack down on those who spread hate, division and radicalisation in our community, and builds upon the government's existing hate speech laws,' she said.
'These laws seek to get the balance right, while avoiding unintended consequences – cracking down on hate speech without undermining freedom of speech or religion.
