Using force in that situation would not be lawful. You'd probably face additional charges, and risk serious injury.
That is only applicable in extremely limited situations. You try to 'use force' against a cop for trying to arrest you, even if he is arresting you for not giving ID when not even required by law, and you will lose. That is something you challenge in court, not 'with force'.
