Mayor of Small Missouri Town Busted on NINE Child Porn and Sex Crimes After Inventing a Vile Race Hoax

As First Alert 4 news reported, Riverview mayor Mike Cornell Jr. has been charged with four counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, three counts of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, one count of first-degree harassment, and one count of possession of child pornography.

There were four victims involved in these incidents, including two minors under the age of 17. The alleged crimes occurred between December 2016 and 2026.

Here are more details from First Alert 4:

According to the St. Louis County Police’s probable cause statement, Cornell committed forcible sex acts on at least three victims, including a minor. They say he made sexual advances against a fourth victim. Police say they found child sexual abuse material on Cornell’s phone.

The department said it was made aware of the allegations against Cornell and potential crimes from another local agency, but would not say who.

The charges follow the authorities’ search of the mayor’s home earlier this month. Police were accompanied by a K9 unit as they searched the residence, which is less than a half-mile from Riverview City Hall.

Riverview’s Acting Police Chief, Toreyon Times, called the charges against Cornell, Jr. “deeply disturbing” in a statement to First Alert 4.

St Louis Police believe there may be even more victims of Cornell, Jr., and are encouraging them to come forward.

Just last month, Cornell Jr. whipped out the race card and alleged without evidence that pro-KKK and anti-Semitic graffiti had been appearing throughout Riverview.

First Alert 4 investigated the mayor’s claims and found inconsistencies across the versions of the stories he told.

For example, the outlet did not find evidence of Cornell’s claims of the KKK or other organized hate groups drawing graffiti in Riverview.

Current and former residents also said there was no history of the KKK in the community.

In other words, the whole thing was a hoax. Making the lie even more disgusting is the fact that Riverview is a city that is 73% Black.

"Emergency Intervention": Trump To Cap Residential Electric Bills By Forcing Tech Giants To Pay For Soaring Power Costs

Back in August, when the American population was just waking up to the dire consequences the exponentially growing army of data centers spawned across the country was having on residential electricity bills, we said that the chart of US CPI would soon become the most popular (not in a good way) chart in the financial realm.

One month later we added that it was only a matter of time before Trump, realizing that soaring electricity costs would almost certainly cost Republicans the midterms, would enforce price caps.

Turns out we were right.

And while Trump obviously can not pull a communist rabbit out of his hat, and centrally plan the entire US power grid, what he can do is precisely what he is about to announce.

According to Bloomberg, Trump and the governors of several US Northeastern states agreed to push for an emergency wholesale electricity auction that would compel technology companies to effectively fund new power plants, effectively putting a cap for residential power prices at the expense of hyperscalers and data centers. Which, come to think of it, we also proposed back in October.

The unprecedented plan, set to be announced Friday morning, seeks to address growing tensions over how the nation can supply electricity to power-hungry data centers, critical to help win the global AI race against China, without simultaneously hiking utility bills for homes and businesses.

The Trump administration and some US governors plan to direct grid operator PJM Interconnection LLC, the largest regional power grid in the US serving 67 million customers primarily in the Northeast, to hold an auction for tech companies to bid on 15-year contracts for new electricity generation capacity.

If the auction proceeds as envisaged, tech giants would pay for power over the duration of the contracts, whether they use the electricity or not, providing secure revenues for years in a market notorious for price volatility and generator bankruptcies.

The auction would deliver contracts supporting the construction of some $15 billion worth of new power plants, said a White House official granted anonymity to detail the approach.

Naturally, since this plan is being introduced under duress, representatives of PJM won’t be in attendance when the plan is laid out Friday according to Bloomberg.

NIH Funds Wuhan-Style Bat Lab at Colorado State University

We’ve now revealed that the NIH is still eager to move forward with the project minus EHA; and gave CSU an additional $2.3 million to do so just two months ago.

Citing White Coat Waste investigations, DOGE Senate Chair Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) are demanding that the National Institutes of Health immediately cancel spending on a Fauci-funded bat breeding and experimentation lab on U.S. soil.

Since 2023, White Coat Waste (WCW) has been campaigning to cut funding for the establishment of a dangerous bat virus lab at Colorado State University (CSU) by Wuhan-tied bat experimenters in collaboration with the disgraced EcoHealth Alliance (EHA) and Dr. Fauci’s division of the NIH

WCW’s investigation revealed how the CSU lab has received $13 million from the NIH to date, including an additional $2.1 million as recently as September 2025 under Director Jay Bhattacharya.

WCW open records requests have unearthed photos of CSU’s bat experiments and history of animal lab accidents and wasteful taxpayer-funded virus experiments on bats.

UPDATE (1/12/26): Citing WCW investigations, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) sent a letter to NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya demanding that funding for the new CSU bat lab be cut “immediately.”

Taxpayers deserve answers and accountability for why NIH has poured nearly $13 million into risky live bat research, with millions more still pending, despite serious biosafety concerns and unanswered questions about COVID-19’s origins. @WhiteCoatWaste @SenJoniErnst…

— Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS (@RepGosar) January 13, 2026

UPDATE (10/14/25): Despite widespread public opposition and Congressional pressure, the NIH under Director Jay Bhattacharya extended funding for CSU’s new bat virus lab and doled out another $2.1 million for the project on September 15, 2025, despite criticizing the lab in 2024 as having “no upside.”

UPDATE (5/23/25): Citing WCW’s investigation, Members of Congress led by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) are requesting that funding for CSU’s new bat lab be completely cut in the NIH’s 2026 spending bill.

Witkoff indicates US prefers to resolve Iran tensions with diplomacy, not military action

US envoy says agreement with Islamic Republic would address nuclear enrichment, ballistic missiles, Iran’s existing stockpile of enriched material, and its proxies

US special envoy Steve Witkoff suggested on Thursday that the Trump administration prefers a diplomatic resolution, rather than a military one, to the ongoing tensions with Iran, sparked by the regime’s deadly violence against protesters.

Asked in an onstage interview at the Israeli-American Council conference in Florida if he thinks a US military strike against Iran is likely, Witkoff responded, “I hope there’s a diplomatic resolution. I really do.”

The US envoy said a diplomatic agreement with Iran would address four issues: “(1) nuclear enrichment, (2) missiles — they have to cut back on their inventory; (3) the actual [nuclear] material that they have, which is roughly 2000 kilograms enriched anywhere between 3.67 percent and 60%; and (4) the proxies.

He suggested that Iran may be willing to compromise on all four issues because its economy is in such dire straits.

“If they want to come back to the league of nations, we can solve those four problems diplomatically, then that would be a great resolution. The alternative is a bad one,” he said.

Meta removes 'hate speech against Zionists when antisemitic tropes are invoked'

“As part of a robust framework to combat antisemitism, we have industry-leading policies designed with the safety of the Jewish community in mind,” Cutler said.

Meta’s Jordana Cutler told The Jerusalem Post Miami Conference that the company removes “hate speech against Zionists when antisemitic tropes are invoked,” describing that rule as part of a broader set of policies aimed at protecting Jews online while acknowledging the difficulty of enforcement at global scale.

“As part of a robust framework to combat antisemitism, we have industry-leading policies designed with the safety of the Jewish community in mind,” Cutler said, according to a transcript of her remarks. She said Meta removes content that threatens harm through intimidation or violence directed at Jews, Israelis, and Zionists, and that the company bans Holocaust denial and distortion.

Cutler added that Meta prohibits harmful stereotypes about Jewish people, including claims that Jews control financial, political, or media institutions. She said the company also applies its hate-speech rules to attacks on “Zionists” when those attacks function as a proxy for antisemitic claims about Jews.

In July 2024, Meta publicly updated its hate-speech approach to attacks on “Zionists,” saying it would remove content that targets “Zionists” when it uses longstanding antisemitic tropes about Jewish control or conspiracies.

Meta barries glorification of hate groups

Cutler highlighted what she described as a “unique policy” barring the glorification, support, or representation of hate groups and terrorist organizations or individuals. She said applying these standards is complicated by volume and nuance.

“It might seem simple to enforce these policies,” she said, “but consider the extraordinary challenges we face at scale when millions of posts are shared every day on Meta’s platforms. Context matters.”

Who is Jordana Cutler? Cutler is Meta’s public policy director for Israel and the Jewish diaspora, a role she has held since joining the company in 2016. The Jerusalem Post has previously described her as a key liaison between the company and Jewish communities, and has covered her work on issues including antisemitism and Holocaust-related content policies.

Former Canton Aldermen Sentenced to 46 Months in Federal Prison for Bribery Scheme

Andrew Grant, 41, and Eric Gilkey, 58, of Canton, Mississippi were sentenced yesterday to 46 months in federal prison for their roles in a bribery scheme involving former Madison County engineer Rudolph M. Warnock Jr.

In July, a federal jury convicted their co-defendants, Rudolph M. Warnock Jr., and Cleveland Anderson, of multiple felony charges following an eight-day trial. Counts 1 and 2 of the indictment charged Warnock and Anderson with conspiring to commit bribery. Warnock was also charged in Counts 3 and 4 of the indictment with conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud and the completed offense of honest services wire fraud. Warnock and Anderson were both convicted on all the counts with which they were charged in the indictment. In December, Warnock was sentenced to 12 years in prison and Anderson was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Grant and Gilkey, both former members of the Canton Board of Aldermen, pleaded guilty to conspiring with Anderson and Warnock in the bribery scheme in November 2022. The Canton Board of Aldermen had authority to select and appoint members of the Board of Commissioners of the Canton Municipal Utilities agency (CMU). At Warnock’s behest, Grant and Gilkey appointed Anderson to serve on the CMU Board of Commissioners. It was Anderson who facilitated Warnock’s hiring as the CMU engineer in 2016.

The evidence at trial revealed that Warnock directed payments and rewards to Anderson, Gilkey, and Grant in exchange for preferential treatment that resulted in lucrative city engineering contracts for Warnock. The bribes supplied by Warnock included thousands of dollars in cash, concert tickets, and football tickets in New Orleans, Louisiana. In exchange for those bribes, Anderson, Grant, and Gilkey ceded control of the CMU purse to Warnock.

United States Attorney Baxter Kruger of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Robert A. Eikhoff of the Federal Bureau of Investigation made the announcement.

U.S. Begins Large Military Buildup In Middle East Despite Alleged De-Escalation With Iran

United States military assets from air, land and sea are expected to flow into the Middle East in the coming days and weeks to provide President Donald Trump with military options should he decide to attack Iran, Fox News reported on January 16, citing military sources.

The report came despite Trump backing down from earlier threats to attack the Islamic Republic over violence against protests there.

Trump has repeatedly threatened Tehran since the start of the protests. The shift in his stance began on January 14 with him stating that the killing of protesters in Iran had ceased and that the Islamic Republic will not be carrying out executions as feared.

It was later reported that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Oman and even Israel itself had asked Trump not to attack Iran.

Despite the de-escalation, the White House on January 15 openly stated that Trump hasn’t removed any options for Iran, warning of “grave consequences” if “the killing continues.”

Fox News’ latest report came to reinforce the idea that the recent de-escalation is nothing but a maneuver by the Trump administration meant to deceive Tehran into letting its guards down, as the U.S. prepares its attack.

According to the American news network, among the military assets the U.S. is now sending to the Middle East is an aircraft carrier.

It is not yet clear whether the carrier is the USS Abraham Lincoln, currently operating in the South China Sea, or one of two carriers that departed Norfolk and San Diego earlier this week, the report said, noting that transit to the region is expected to take at least a week.

While the report suggests that only one aircraft carrier will be deployed in the region, it wont be a surprise if all three end up in the region within a few weeks.

The sources who spoke to Fox News described the U.S. military deployment in the Middle East as a process of “setting the force.”

One of the sources told the network that if Trump decides to carry out military action, “This will be different, more offensive.” He added that U.S. military planners are preparing a range of options that would depend on how Iran’s regime acts in the coming days.

Fox News revealed that 30,000 U.S. troops are currently deployed in the U.S. Central Command region, which includes all of the Middle East.

Democrats Fight To Keep Insurrection Myth Alive In New J6 Committee

The new J6 Committee has started its hearings and, unlike the prior Committee, Republicans have allowed Democrats to select members to sit in opposition. That has led to sharp exchanges, but one of the more interesting occurred between Rep. Harriet Hageman (R., Wyo.) and Jamie Raskin (D., Md.). After Hageman got a witness to admit that no one was charged with incitement, Raskin made the clearly false statement that a few defendants charged with seditious conspiracy was the same thing as incitement. It is not.

Rep. Raskin triggered the confrontation by making a clearly false claim about one of those charged by the Biden Administration: “I would just commend to everybody the testimony of Pamela Hemphill, who was a convicted insurrectionist that was pardoned. She rejected her pardon.”

In reality, Hemphill was charged (like most of the rioters) with relatively minor misdemeanors. She pleaded guilty to one count of demonstrating, picketing, or parading in a Capitol building and received just 60 days in prison, 36 months of probation, and a $500 fine for restitution. She was never charged with insurrection or any felony.

Rep. Hageman pounced on the comment and asked former Justice Department prosecutor Michael Romano whether any January 6 protester had actually been convicted under the federal insurrection statute.

Romano tried to dodge the question but admitted that no one, not Trump nor any rioter, was ever charged with insurrection. Notably, after January 6th, there was a great amount of coverage on Trump and his aides being possibly charged with insurrection or incitement. Despite some of us noting that the speech was clearly protected under the First Amendment, the press portrayed such a charge as credible and heaped coverage on District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine, who announced that he was considering arresting Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani, and U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks and charging them with incitement. It never happened. The reason is obvious. It could not be legally maintained.

While the FBI launched a massive national investigation, it did not find evidence of an insurrection. While a few were charged with seditious conspiracy, no one was charged with insurrection.

The Supreme Court later reduced charges further by rejecting obstruction charges in some cases.

Yet that did not stop members and the media from repeating the false mantra that this was an insurrection, despite some of us immediately rejecting it as legally unsustainable. Indeed, Democrats used the false claim to seek to disqualify Trump and dozens of Republicans from ballots.

Now back to the hearing.

Hageman asked the witness, “Mr. Romano, did you prosecute anyone related to January 6th for engaging in an insurrection?” she asked. Romano responded, “No, congresswoman.”

That is when Raskin objected and tried to interrupt the confirmation that, in fact, there never was an insurrection or any such charges.
