When his military flight to London was grounded, he refused special treatment, declined kicking another delegation off their plane, and flew commercial—Economy Plus—to arrive on time.
Result: Mike Johnson became the first U.S. Speaker of the House to address the British Parliament.

SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON was supposed to fly on a U.S. military jet to London yesterday.
He got to Andrews and the plane had mechanical problems and couldn't fly.
They offered to boot another codel off a plane to give it to Johnson, but Johnson said no.
He ended up flying Economy Plus on United from Dulles to London-Heathrow.
