Nigerian King Must Pay $72k Restitution For Defrauding NC Medicaid During Pandemic

Ekelekamchukwu Alphonsus Ngwadom, 61, received a suspended sentence requiring three years probation and $72,014.66 in restitution after pleading guilty to twenty-seven felonies in regards to hundreds of Medicaid claims for children’s therapy he fraudulently filed in 2020 and 2021 at his Raleigh practice, Almarch Counseling. It was during this same period that Ngwadom was crowned King or “Eze” of the Mbubu-Amiri kingdom in Nigeria’s Imo State, according to a local news source which also identified him as the Chairman of African Diaspora Coalition of North Carolina and Professor of Psychology and Sociology at the University of Mount Olive. (There are many such “traditional rulers“ recognized by and holding limited power under the Federal Republic of Nigeria).

Ngwadom is listed as the Director of Partnerships and Development for Nigerian Mental Health Practitioners USA and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria-American Institute for Mental Health.

Records show Ngwadom resides at a Garner address and has voted in Johnston County since 2008.

Investigation and prosecution

According to a search warrant obtained by the Medicaid Investigation Division of the North Carolina Department of Justice, Ngwadom’s practice was flagged by Alliance Health, the manager of the NC Medicaid plan for counties including Wake, Johnston, and Durham.

Ngwadom’s fraud was revealed when a legitimate claim for therapy was submitted for one of the children for which he had filed fraudulent claims, and it was discovered that the family had never received services from Ngwadom or Almarch Counseling.

In the ensuing investigation into the “overlapping services,” a total of 210 fraudulent claims were identified involving children from three families who never receiving services from Ngwadom or Almarch Counseling:

fifty-two claims for two minor children for a total of $3,037.28

one hundred and three claims for three minor children for a total of $8,476.88

fifty-five claims for two minor children for a total of $3,529.46

At sentencing, the state prosecutor explained that Ngwadom had met these families through an after-school program in the years prior to the pandemic, as reported by the News & Observer.

Climate change and green new deals top that agenda, along with diversity, equity, and inclusion and additional bullshit about “environment, social, and governance factors” (ESG) in its global strategies portfolio — meaning, mandates for exactly the kind of policies that are destroying Europe’s economies, de-industrialization foremost.

Among the invited speakers at Davos this year: one US President Donald Trump. He is going to kill them with kindness, a tongue-bath of Trumpian compliments — you are the greatest. . . beautiful leaders like the world has never seen before — while he artfully inserts a stiletto in the WEF’s liver. You might not even know that the org is a walking corpse until a few weeks after the Davos meeting shuts down. But Mr. Trump is going to terminate its influence and send a message that the era of globalist shenanigans is over.

The president can point to two demonstration projects.

First, the USA’s acquisition of Greenland one way or another, either ownership or some leasing agreement or revised treaty arrangement. You can be sure that the EU does not like that — big bully America picking on cuddly little Denmark, “the world’s happiest country.” But since they are happily oblivious to Greenland’s strategic importance (vis-a-vis China’s nefarious ambitions there) it is up to America to prepare the game-board. The art of the deal, of course, is making it fait accompli before the targeted property-owner has even entered the discussion. How that works will be a painful discovery for the walking dead Davosanistas.

The second demo will be how the recent arrest of Nicolás Maduro leads to revelations of the globalist conspiracy to interfere in elections here, there, and everywhere. Señor Maduro sold his Smartmatic system to all comers, and you can bet that the plea bargain talks are already underway in Brooklyn (if not already concluded). Yes, it is our old friend, the Kraken, which is a related species of giant squid to the vampire variety convened in Davos.

Putin Offered Seat On Trump's Gaza Peace Board, Kremlin Says

Russia has been invited to take part in the new US-backed 'Peace Board' put forward by President Donald Trump to oversee post-conflict governance and reconstruction in Gaza, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has announced, in a somewhat surprising and hugely symbolic diplomatic move and overture.

Peskov told reporters Monday that President Vladimir Putin had received an invitation through diplomatic channels. "We are studying the details of the proposal. We hope to hold contacts with the US side to clarify all the nuances," he said, but did not disclose any additional details.

The Putin invitation has yet to be publicly acknowledged by Washington, and Western mainstream media is likely to go into a frenzy over it. Press reports have highlighted that Putin was invited to oversee 'peace' but is still active in directing the Ukraine invasion.

For example, The Guardian frames the peace board as but a Trump vanity project, writing "The invitation to Putin, which has yet to be confirmed by Washington, raises more questions about the intended agenda for the board. It was originally part of Trump’s ceasefire proposals for the Gaza war, and was supposed to oversee the transition to a lasting peace in the territory and supervise the work of a committee of Palestinian experts, also announced last week, who would take care of the day-to-day running of Gaza."

The report adds, "The vaguely described scheme was endorsed in a UN security council resolution in November" - and draws parallels to the desire to takeover Greenland, which is intent to "cement Trump’s place in the history books."

Invitations have been sent to a broad group of countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including US allies and key regional players. Already, countries and leaders as different and geographically distant as Hungary under Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Vietnamese Communist Party chief To Lam have accepted their invitations.

It is shaping up to be a 'mini UN' of sorts, as the peace board plan calls for an international council to manage reconstruction financing, security coordination, and political cooperation in Gaza - all while working in cooperation with a Palestinian technocratic administration.

In the UK, the stone-dropping global inconvenience was passed over recently in favour of highlighting the latest hooey from the Met Office claiming another local ‘hottest year evah’ based on its junk, unnaturally heat-ravaged weather stations. Rather than advance a balanced global view (or even mention it), the Met Office activists proclaimed that its six hundredth of a degree centigrade ‘record’ was made 260 times more likely due to humans fiddling with the weather. Such imaginative precision from such junk data is a wonder to behold. Science, it is not.

Rapper Kanye West released the controversial song in May 2025. The music video for Heil Hitler depicts a group of black men in formation singing 'Ni**a Heil Hitler' multiple times.

Miami Beach mayor Steven Meiner said he was "deeply disturbed and disgusted" after a video of influencers chanting Nazi slogans in a nightclub went viral online.

In the video, influencers Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, Nick Fuentes, Clavicular, Sneako, Myron Gaines and Justin Waller can be seen blasting Kanye West’s song Heil Hitler during a bottle parade at the nightclub Vendome.

The nightclub posted a formal apology on Sunday for the “deeply offensive and unacceptable” video, adding that "Vendôme and our hospitality group do not condone antisemitism, hate speech, or prejudice of any kind."

It also said it is conducting an internal review to understand the circumstances surrounding how the requested song came to be played during a bottle parade, adding that it will take immediate action to hold the responsible parties accountable.

Meiner, whose grandparents' family were killed during the Holocaust, said the video glorified the Holocaust and Hitler, and must be universally condemned.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been invited to US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, which would give Israel a seat at the table on a supervisory but largely symbolic body meant to oversee Gaza’s postwar development.

Netanyahu’s office confirmed to The Times of Israel that he or a representative of his choice was invited to the board. If he accepts, Israel will join a growing list of countries that have confirmed receiving invitations. They are from Europe, Asia, Australia, the Americas and the Middle East and span Israel’s allies and adversaries.

At least one country, France, signaled its intention to decline Trump’s invitation.

Also confirming an invitation was Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as the leaders of Belarus and Kazakhstan, both close Russian allies.

Moscow is likewise an ally to Iran and to the ousted Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad. But it has for years tried to balance ties with all major players in the Middle East — including the Palestinians and Israel — and strives for good relations with the Jewish state, home to a large Russian-born community.

UK gov't launches investigation into antisemitism in schools, vows 'no stone left unturned'

The investigation comes after MP Damien Egan was prevented from visiting Bristol Brunel Academy in his Bristol North East constituency after intervention from anti-Israel activists.

The UK’s education secretary has launched a government investigation into antisemitism in schools following an incident where a Jewish MP was barred from visiting a school in his constituency.

UK Secretary of State for Education Bridget Phillipson announced the commission in The Telegraph on Sunday, stating that she will leave “no stone unturned” in ensuring all schools and colleges have the “right systems and processes in place to identify and respond to antisemitism.”

The investigation comes on the back of MP Damien Egan – who converted to Judaism – being prevented from visiting Bristol Brunel Academy in his Bristol North East constituency after intervention from pro-Palestinian activists.

The ban came after lobbying from the Bristol National Education Union as well as from Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which said, “politicians who openly support Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza are not welcome in our schools.”

'Shocking and completely unacceptable'

Egan is vice-chair of Labour Friends of Israel and has visited Israel since October 7. He is also married to an Israeli man. These factors have led to repeated anti-Israel campaigning against him.

Phillipson condemned the news at the time, saying, “What happened to my colleague Damien Egan is shocking and completely unacceptable. A Jewish MP’s visit to a school in his own constituency was stopped from going ahead.”

Israel's XTEND joins with Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works for multi-drone mission execution

Israeli drone company XTEND and Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works are working together to enable single operators to simultaneously command and control multiple drone classes.

Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works and Israeli drone company XTEND are expanding their cooperation by integrating XTEND’s operating system into Skunk Works’ MDCX autonomy platform.

The integration of the XTEND Operating System (XOS) will enable a single operator to simultaneously command and control multiple classes of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), with the goal of improving situational awareness and operational efficiency, according to a statement released by the two companies.

Previously, operators of larger UAS platforms would transfer control to another operator responsible for lower-tier systems, using tools such as first-person-view interfaces and “mark-and-fly” commands. Following the integration, a single operator can execute lower-level missions in joint all-domain C2 (JADC2) scenarios.

Classified advanced tech

Skunk Works is Lockheed Martin’s advanced development division, known for pioneering new aerospace and defense technologies, including advanced aircraft, the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (Auto GCAS), and command-and-control systems.

Candis Roussel, integrated communications manager at Lockheed Martin, told Defense & Tech by The Jerusalem Post that Skunk Works has “always been at the forefront of cutting‑edge technology, and we love tackling new challenges.”

“Skunk Works has been around since the 1950s, driving innovation in aerospace engineering,” Roussel said. “Our mission is to keep pace with the rapidly evolving environment and provide the safety, data, and agility that pilots and warfighters need to operate quickly and effectively – improving both their safety and their success.”

“Ninety‑seven percent of our work is classified, but the remaining three percent gives you a glimpse into the complexity and advanced capabilities our teams are developing,” she added.

Founded in Israel and based in Tel Aviv, XTEND specializes in human-guided autonomous drone systems for defense and security applications. The company operates globally, with offices in Israel, the United States, Singapore, and Latvia.

XTEND’s drone command-and-control (C2) systems are used by militaries around the world and are designed to operate in harsh and contested environments, including scenarios in which GPS signals are denied or communications are jammed. The company says its XOS allows new operators to conduct missions at near expert-level proficiency, reducing training time while increasing operational effectiveness and informed decision-making.

The integration also reflects a broader shift within Western militaries toward distributed command-and-control architectures capable of operating in highly contested environments, where centralized control and uninterrupted communications cannot be assumed.

Kurdish Forces Say Al-Hasakah Prison With ‘Thousands’ Of ISIS Detainees Is Out Of Control

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on January 19 that it has lost control of a prison with thousands of ISIS detainees in the northeastern Syrian governorate of al-Hasakah after a wave of attacks by “ factions” to the Islamist-led Syrian Transitional Government (STG).

In a statement, the Kurdish-led group said that its fighters repelled several attacks on the prison, located near the town of al-Shaddadi in the southern al-Hasakah countryside, but lost control after sustaining losses and receiving no support from the United States-led coalition.

“Fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces confronted these attacks and succeeded in repelling them several times, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of our fighters and the injury of others, in an effort to prevent a serious security catastrophe,” the SDF said.

“Although Al-Shaddadi Prison is located approximately two kilometers from the International Coalition base in the area, the base did not intervene, despite repeated calls for intervention,” the group continued.

“Accordingly, we inform public opinion that Al-Shaddadi Prison has currently fallen outside the control of our forces as a result of these developments,” it added.

As the prison was under attack, the state-run SANA news agency reported, citing military sources, that STG forces had deployed around the city of al-Hasakah.

Government forces and affiliated tribes expelled the SDF from most of the Arab-majority governorates of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor, in northern and eastern Syria a day earlier. The group also lost a vast area in the eastern Aleppo countryside, close to the town of Kobani, one of its main strongholds.

This happened as Syrian President Ahamad al-Sharaa announced a merger agreement with SDF commander-in-chief Mazloum Abdi.

The 14-point agreement, which was brokered by the U.S., states that Raqqa and Deir Ezzor should be completely handed over to the STG.

As for Al-Hasakah and Kobani, where most of the population are Kurds, the agreement is vague. It says that areas there should be integrated into government structures, without clarifying the future of the SDFs’ civil self-administration in any way.
