Netanyahu warns Iran of unprecedented retaliation
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that any Iranian attack would be met with “a force Iran has never known,” declaring that Tehran will never return to its previous state.
Speaking on Gaza, Netanyahu said Israel is approaching Phase II of President Trump’s plan, with the IDF currently controlling 53% of the territory. Phase II will focus on disarming Hamas and fully demilitarizing Gaza, “either the easy way or the hard way.”
He also emphasized that Turkish and Qatari forces will not enter Gaza, while noting ongoing discussions with Washington over the composition of an advisory council for the region.

Iran protests stretch into fourth week as blackout, security pressure persist
Updated: January 19, 2026 11:14 GMT
More than 20 days into protests across Iran, accounts sent to Iran International describe a widening crackdown: the internet still largely cut, de facto curfews in several cities, pressure on families of those killed, and tighter security control over hospitals and morgues.
The protests began on December 28 and have continued despite sweeping security measures, according to witnesses and reports gathered from multiple cities across the country.
NetBlocks, an internet monitoring group, said on Monday that Iran’s nationwide internet blackout had entered its 12th day, with international connectivity still minimal.
Authorities appear to be testing a heavily filtered domestic intranet that intermittently allows limited messaging, NetBlocks said.
Iranian authorities have not publicly detailed the scope or duration of the restrictions, which activists say have severely limited communication, emergency services and independent verification of events.
Judiciary warns of swift punishment
On Monday, judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei described protesters as “rioters and troublemakers” and said cases linked to unrest would be handled rapidly.
“Swift and timely implementation of punishment, without delay, is one of the elements of deterrence,” Ejei said, according to state media, adding that no delay would be tolerated in pursuing protest-related cases.
Under Iranian law, some charges related to unrest – such as moharebeh (enmity against God) can carry severe penalties, including the death sentence.
Hospitals and morgues under pressure
Accounts received by Iran International suggest the crackdown has extended beyond the streets into hospitals, emergency care and the handling of bodies.
Witnesses in several cities said security forces entered hospitals, removed injured protesters and restricted treatment.
One doctor in the northern city of Rasht told Iran International that security forces took wounded protesters from a hospital and transferred blood supplies to a military facility.
Similar reports from other cities described morgues filling rapidly and security forces maintaining a visible presence around medical centers.
Families of those killed said they faced pressure when seeking information about bodies or burial arrangements, including financial demands and restrictions on funerals.
Several accounts said ambulances failed to reach areas where shootings occurred, with some witnesses saying phone networks were down and emergency calls could not be placed.
Others said wounded protesters bled to death after taking shelter in nearby buildings because hospitals refused to admit them or because transport was unavailable.

Reports of lethal force and curfews
Witnesses described widespread use of live ammunition and pellet guns in cities including Karaj, Rasht, Shiraz and parts of Tehran province.
In Karaj, residents said security forces used tactical withdrawals to funnel large crowds into enclosed areas before opening fire.
In Rasht, witnesses said protesters were trapped amid smoke and flames before being shot. No specific dates were mentioned in these accounts.
Reports from multiple cities indicated that informal curfews were in effect on Sunday, with armed patrols, checkpoints, phone searches and restrictions on nighttime movement. Residents said leaving homes after certain hours could lead to threats or detention.
Detentions and holding sites
Witnesses also reported large numbers of arrests, with some detainees held in non-prison facilities such as government buildings, camps or utility compounds.
In the northern city of Gorgan, one resident said dozens of bodies were temporarily held at a camp, while detainees were taken to a nearby prison quarantine area.
Similar accounts from Qom and Isfahan described protesters being held in improvised locations.
Tight controls on burials
Accounts described families being warned to accept official narratives about the deaths of relatives or face delays in retrieving bodies.
Some said burials were conducted at night with limits on attendance, while others described threats of unmarked or collective burials.
Witnesses also reported verbal abuse by security personnel at burial sites and forensic facilities.
International reaction
The protests have prompted demonstrations by Iranian communities abroad, including in Europe, Asia and Oceania with massive rallies held in the US, UK and Canada.
Several European countries have summoned Iranian ambassadors in recent weeks, while senior officials in Germany and other states have made unusually blunt statements criticizing Tehran’s handling of the unrest.
Iranian officials have repeatedly blamed foreign powers, including the United States and Israel, for the protests, accusations denied by Western governments.
With internet access still largely cut and independent journalists unable to operate freely, the full scale of the violence remains unclear.
Iran International continues to receive a high volume of consistent eyewitness accounts from across the country, but verification remains difficult due to the communications blackout and security restrictions.
For many Iranians, witnesses said, the combination of street violence, disrupted medical care and pressure on families has turned daily life into what they described as an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty more than three weeks after the protests began.

Army Repels Boko Haram Drone Assault In Northeast Nigeria’s Borno Region
2026/01/19
Troops of Nigeria’s Joint Task Force (JTF), operating under Operation Hadin Kai, have successfully repelled a drone-coordinated assault launched by the Boko Haram insurgent group in the volatile Timbuktu Triangle area of Borno State in Northeast Nigeria, officials confirmed on Monday.
The development unfolded during a carefully planned advance linked to Operation Desert Sanity, a sustained military campaign designed to locate, dismantle, and eliminate entrenched Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) cells operating across remote enclaves within the Lake Chad Basin corridor, a region that has witnessed a prolonged insurgency for over a decade.
According to a statement released by the Media Information Officer of the JTF Northeast, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the troops were advancing after staging a deliberate clearance sweep across identified terrorist camps situated in the communities of Chilaria, Garin Faruk, and Abirma on Sunday.
“The troops advanced from their harbour area and conducted intelligence-led operations targeting terrorist strongholds across multiple enclaves.
The operation resulted in the destruction of several camps and the recovery of critical items belonging to the insurgents,” Lieutenant Colonel Sani said.
Air-Ground Coordination Prevents Insurgent Reinforcement
The military confirmed that ground troops were supported by air assets deployed under Operation Hadin Kai, which provided real-time Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) coverage over the operation axis. ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) coverage enabled the tracking of insurgent movements and prevented possible reinforcement from Boko Haram and ISWAP units positioned deeper within the forest terrain.
“The synergy between the air and ground components enhanced precision, boosted troop confidence, and limited the ability of the terrorists to mount counter-attacks,” the statement added.
Okay News reports that air-to-ground ISR coordination has become a defining feature of Nigeria’s modern counter-insurgency strategy, especially since the Nigerian Armed Forces broadened their technological capability to disrupt terrorist mobility corridors in the region.
Drone Attacks Repelled After Intense Firefight
Despite the successful clearance operation earlier in the day, Lieutenant Colonel Sani disclosed that at midday the advancing soldiers came under a sustained armed drone assault launched by the insurgents.
“Despite being attacked by armed drones, the troops maintained momentum and continued their offensive advance. A second attempt by the terrorists in the evening was also decisively repelled, forcing them to withdraw under pressure,” the military official stated.
The Army noted that the confrontations reaffirmed the dominance of the Nigerian military across the Timbuktu Triangle axis, a strategic battlefield zone named after its triangular geography and proximity to historical smuggling routes.
1/2
Recovered Weapons And Logistics Supplies
During the operation, troops seized a diverse range of materials classified as military and operational significance.
Items recovered included Baofeng radios, mobile phones, five AK-47 rifle magazines, several rounds of 7.62 × 39 millimeter special ammunition, 7.62 millimeter North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) belted ammunition, links of 12.7 × 108 millimeter ammunition, and several Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province flags.
Other recovered materials included diesel-powered grinding machines, a significant quantity of medical consumables, several bags of food grains, a pick-up truck, underground storage facilities used for logistics, and a Petroleum And Oil Lubricant (POL) dump, which the Army said contributed to degrading the terrorists’ battlefield readiness and supply resilience.
Morale And Security Situation
According to Lieutenant Colonel Sani, troop morale remains elevated despite sustained engagements with insurgent factions. He further described the security environment as “calm but unpredictable,” adding that forces remain on heightened alert to prevent future retaliatory attacks.
The Nigerian Military High Command reaffirmed that current operations will continue until the insurgent threat across Northeast Nigeria is eliminated and lasting stability is restored to communities affected by the conflict.
“The military remains resolute in its mission to eliminate terrorist threats, safeguard civilian lives, and restore enduring peace to the region,” the Command stated.
Global And Regional Context
Boko Haram, an extremist organization that originated in Northeast Nigeria in 2002, has been responsible for mass displacement, civilian deaths, and attacks across Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger, and Chad.
In 2016, a faction of the group pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, establishing the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), which continues to stage attacks and maintain recruitment networks in remote border regions.
International Security Implications
Regional analysts argue that the emergence of drone warfare in insurgent operations poses evolving security challenges for West African military forces.
Although non-state drone deployment remains limited, defence experts warn that insurgent adaptation could signal a future shift in asymmetric battlefield tactics within the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin theatres.

China sends a military drone into Taiwan's airspace for the first time
January 19, 2026 17:53
For the first time, China has sent a military drone into Taiwan's airspace, underscoring Beijing's efforts to test its defense capabilities. This was reported by the agency Bloomberg citing a statement by the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense.
According to the agency, a Chinese reconnaissance drone was in the airspace of Pratas Island for about four minutes on the morning of Saturday, January 17.
It is located in the southern part of the Taiwan Strait, about 400 kilometers from the main island.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that the drone flew outside the range of air defense systems, adding that it left the airspace after a warning was transmitted over international radio frequencies.
The journalists reminded that in 2022, Taiwan shot down a Chinese civilian drone that flew near another of its naval outposts, Kinmen.
The Chinese military said on social media that the drone was conducting "legitimate and lawful" exercises. The latest drone incident underscores China's efforts to militarily intimidate Taiwan.
Taipei rejects Beijing's claims to its territory and has stepped up efforts to strengthen its defense to deter any attack.
-
On December 18, 2025, the US government approved the sale of weapons Taiwan for $11.1 billion. This is the largest package ever. The island nation will receive HIMARS missile systems, howitzers, Javelin and TOW anti-tank missiles, and other weapons.
-
On December 29, China launched the largest military exercises around Taiwan called "Mission Justice 2025".

“Hardcore Grandma” goes viral streaming her UAV drone skills to manage farm
Jan 19, 2026, 03:52
A woman known as the “Hardcore Grandma” has been going viral in China as she’s been streaming herself using a drone to manage her farm.
When most people think of livestreaming on websites like Twitch and YouTube, they’ll immediately think of gaming. However, the streaming space has expanded significantly beyond that over the years.
Jump into Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and even Instagram, and you’ll find people streaming all different kinds of content – including breakdowns about sports, political news coverage, and building new tech.
Over in China, 82-year-old Dai Shuying has been going viral for using streaming as her outlet to showcase her skills with a drone, which she uses to plant seeds across her farm and manage rice fields with.
Dai Shuying goes viral with drone streams on farm
That’s right, the ‘Hardcore Grandma’ as she’s known has been flying “a large agricultural drone” that her grandson bought to fertilise their farmland.
As per the South China Morning Post, Shuying has racked up over 200,000 followers on her “Old Farmer, Gratefully Loved” Douyin and WeChat accounts, where she flies the drone, live streams cooking, and everything else in between.
“With this drone, we can finish all 600 mu in one day. It saves time and effort,” she said. “Life is very happy now.
My children are by my side, I enjoy farming, and our income is better than before. At over 80 years of age, being able to see so much of the world is the best part.”
Back in December, People’s Daily Online reported that Shuying’s online success had been generating around 100,000 yuan/$14,000 a year.
“As our short videos gained traction, more and more people began sending me agricultural products, hoping I would help promote them. In the past, villagers had to go to markets; now they can sell directly from home,” her grandson said.
“She still gets a little embarrassed, but she’s happy to help promote our rice and represent our hometown,” he added.
The videos have also attracted visitors to their village, Laomei, where Dai has become a “local internet celebrity.”

U.S. agencies test security plans for drone threats over World Cup stadiums
01.19.2026
Leaders from the military, law enforcement and local governments gathered last week for “tabletop exercises overwhelmingly focused on one violent threat” to this summer’s FIFA World Cup: “unauthorized drones entering airspace above the 11 American stadium where matches will be played,” according to Sophia Cai of POLITICO.
The two-day summit, held near the headquarters of U.S. Northern Command, “brought together federal agencies, 11 U.S. host committees and FIFA’s security leadership” in an attempt to prepare for a 48-team tournament spread across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada that will “put unprecedented demands on public authorities at all levels.”
Those who gathered in Colorado Springs “contended with a range of potential security threats” to the five-week tournament through “tabletop exercises simulating a drone incursion and a natural disaster scenarios.”
According to U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Gregory D. Newkirk, the goal of the exercises is to “ensure federal and local processes ‘mesh … seamlessly’ and quickly." The fear of unauthorized drones flying over World Cup stadiums is “among the biggest emerging threats” of the tournament.
State and local agencies have been “encouraged to purchase equipment that can jam inbound drones or redirect them to their origin.”
State and local agencies are able to “seek reimbursement” through a federal $500M grant program, which is available to all fifty states but being “promoted for urgent deployment by jurisdictions that will host World Cup matches” (POLITICO, 1/16).
SAFETY MEASURES: In Boston, Emily Sweeney noted Massachusetts state officials announced that police will receive $21.2M in grants to “protect against ‘malicious drone activity.’”
According to Gov. Maura Healey’s administration, the funding is coming from the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Grant Program, which is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The grants can be “used to buy drone detection and tracking systems, physical barriers (such as security netting), and for training, among other things” (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/16).

Drone strike kills 36 militias, 16 wounded in Ethiopia’s Amhara
18 January 2026 | 23:58
A drone strike that hit a militia camp in Ethiopia’s Amhara region killed 36 militias and wounded 16 others, eyewitnesses told APA over the weekend.
The attack took place in Sahala Seyemti district of the Wag Hemra Nationality Administration, where government’s militia members were gathered for a meeting and breakfast.
District authorities confirmed the attack and acknowledged that it was erroneously conducted by government forces.
The camp, located near an area known as Sefa Bridge outside the district capital Mechaha, had served as a militia base since the start of the Tigray conflict.
Residents said the site was used as an arms depot and as a resting and supply center for security forces, with militia members tasked with preventing Fano fighters operating in the area from entering the district.
They said weapons stored inside the camp were largely destroyed by the strike. District officials said local defense commanders later described the incident as a “mistake.”
The strike comes amid heightened tensions in parts of Amhara, where clashes between government forces and armed Fano groups have intensified in recent months.
According to the residents, the victims expressed fear as military drones had been conducting surveillance in the area.
The district authorities said the strike came 30 minutes after the military drones had stopped the surveillance.
The whereabouts of four militias, who were in the camp, has not been known.

UFO task force eyed as lawmaker warns of strange objects in skies and waters defying known technology
January 19, 2026 12:23pm EST
A Vermont lawmaker is setting his sights on the skies with a new bill poised to create a UFO panel within the state.
Rep. Troy Headrick, I-Burlington, has introduced legislation looking to set up the Vermont Airspace Safety and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force, according to the Vermont Digger.
The bill reportedly proposes the creation of a state task force to investigate reports of both unidentified aerospace and underwater objects, assess safety risks regarding airspace, and work alongside federal partners and researchers to discover improved policies.
The task force would be composed of officials from Vermont’s departments of transportation and public safety, while also opening up seats for lawmakers and experts on the topic.
"I am not a subject matter expert at all," Headrick said, the Vermont Digger reported. "As policymakers, I think we have an obligation to remain attentive to emerging trends [in public safety]."
According to H.654, the panel would investigate reports of any unknown objects that exhibit "performance characteristics not consistent with currently understood technologies," such as, "instantaneous acceleration absent observable inertia or hypersonic velocity without a corresponding thermal signature or sonic boom."
Headrick initially introduced the legislation at the request of a constituent, lobbyist Maggie Lenz, according to Seven Days Vermont.
Lenz, owner of Atlas Government Affairs, reportedly became interested in the issue after a string of UAPs, or unidentified anomalous phenomena, made headlines throughout New Jersey in 2024, sparking nationwide panic regarding countless mysterious flying objects.
"I’m certainly not saying that it’s aliens," Lenz said, according to Seven Days Vermont. "But I do think just having the conversation here in Vermont will begin to allow for it to be taken a little bit more seriously."
The proposed legislation replicates the federal government’s response to UAPs in recent years, following Congress passing the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act in 2023 and the U.S. Department of War’s creation of the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
The draft bill indicates that Vermonters have reported UAP sightings to police in various instances, signaling a need for a coordinated response between state and federal officials.
While speaking before Vermont’s House Government Operations Committee last week, Headrick offered a more down-to-earth reason behind the proposed bill – pointing to the surge of drones throughout the state.
"The proliferation of drone use — this is where I see the need for data," Headrick told the committee, the Vermont Digger reported.
Headrick did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
While the proposed bill has yet to be voted on by the committee, Headrick reportedly tried to sweeten the deal by promising to look into Vermont’s famed sea monster if the legislation is passed.
"For the cryptids fans in the room, there’s an underwater provision to this as well," Headrick said, according to the Vermont Digger. "So if we want to investigate Champ, we can do that."

WATCH: Utah Witness Claims To Have Video Proof Of UFO ‘Fleet’
January 19, 2026
An interesting video has surfaced recently of what a witness claims to be a 'fleet' of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) recorded over a lake in northern Utah. The post has gotten a lot of attention over the past 48 hours since it was shared online.
There are a handful of lakes and reservoirs within a 100 miles radius of Salt Lake City.
The witness, who goes by the name Scott C. Waring, alleges to have captured the content at approximately 11 A.M. on January 17, 2026, but fails to identify exactly which body of water the footage was shot over, which leaves some questions to be answered as to the authenticity of the recording.
The recording appears to show a several mile long line of what looks like fiery debris over a lake. A mountain range can also be seen in the background, as well as a few onlookers on bikes.
The Great Salt Lake is the likely water source captured in the video, but again, it's not verified by the witness.
Utah Man Shares Footage Of Alleged UFO 'Fleet' Near Salt Lake City On January 17
The recent footage (alleged) was shared to both YouTube and UFO Sightings Daily.
"I recorded 4 or 5 short videos of the even and two of the area ten minutes later with the object no longer there. The objects look like two long disks.
The smaller disk is about 2 miles across and the bigger disk is about 5 miles across," was a direct quote from the witness on UFO Sightings Daily.
What do you believe Scott captured on Saturday, January 17, near Salt Lake City? Or, do you believe the footage to be faked?

Bank Of England Warned To Prepare For Economic Chaos Sparked By The Existence Alien Life
January 19, 2026 9:49 am
There is currently no proof that the universe is home to other intelligent life forms aside from the ones that inhabit Earth, and evidence to the contrary would be a very big deal.
There’s no telling how people would react to that development, but one expert has warned the Bank of England to be prepared for a financial crisis triggered by that revelation.
Humans have been debating the existence of extraterrestrial life for thousands of years.
Thinkers in ancient Greece floated the notion of a “plurality of worlds” like the one we inhabit, and arguments for (and against) the probability of so-called “aliens” being real have gotten increasingly sophisticated as our knowledge of the universe has grown over the millennia.
The odds of Earth being the only planet in the universe to boast some sort of life are infinitesimally small, and the same can be said for the notion that humans are responsible for cultivating the most advanced society in existence.
With that said, we’re still waiting for the day when we’re treated to incontrovertible proof concerning alien life.
It’s difficult to predict the impact that kind of discovery would have, but one economic expert is warning a major institution to be prepared for some negative ramifications if that information comes to light.
A former security analyst at the Bank of England is sounding the alarm about the economic ramifications of alien life being confirmed
Aliens have been a staple of science fiction for centuries, and while plenty of people have come forward with claims that they were abducted and ferried away to an unknown part of outer space in a UFO, they’ve been largely dismissed as crackpots.
The same can be said for the conspiracy theorists who are convinced the United States government (and others around the world) has engaged in a massive cover-up concerning aliens who’ve already visited Earth and UFOs that are purportedly being stored in a warehouse in Area 51.
A number of whistleblowers have come forward in recent years to support those claims, and Congress itself added some fuel to the fire with a series of hearings concerning the UFOs the military officially refers to as “unidentified anomalous phenomena.”
Those proceedings did not produce any concrete evidence concerning alien life, but according to The Times, the Bank of England has been warned to prepare for what would be one of the most monumental days in human history if that ends up changing.
Helen McCaw, who formerly served as a senior analyst specializing in financial security for that institution, recently sent a letter to Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to warn him about the potentially disastrous ramifications of alien life coming to light, saying:
“It is entirely possible that government leadership and their central banks have not been properly briefed on the topic. UAP disclosure is likely to induce ontological shock and provoke psychological responses with material consequences.
There might be extreme price volatility in financial markets due to catastrophising or euphoria, and a collapse in confidence if market participants feel uncertain on how to price assets using any of the familiar methods.”
McCaw warned the price of precious metals like gold and silver could either skyrocket or plummet, saying people may turn to those historically trusted assets or dump them out of fears that alien technology could cause their value to drop.
She also said digital currency like Bitcoin could end up being attractive if people lose their faith in government-backed funds and predicted it wouldn’t take long for chaos to reign if alien life is confirmed, adding, “I would say that in a matter of hours, you are going to have total financial instability….Even if you feel it’s very unlikely, it’s madness not to consider it and plan accordingly.”
Good to know.

UFO Whistleblowers Claim Earth Is A Cosmic Farm Where Aliens Harvest Human Misery
01/19/26 AT 8:27 AM EST
A growing wave of UFO whistleblowers is claiming that Earth is not just a planet, but a cosmic farm where aliens feed on human misery, harvesting negative emotions to fuel their own evolution.
It is a chilling idea that straddles the line between science fiction and metaphysical speculation.
The idea's origins stretch back to the 1980s, beginning with Robert Monroe's metaphysical explorations and later reshaped into the dark narratives popularised by David Icke.
Today, it resurfaces in whistleblower testimonies that link UFO phenomena with humanity's emotional energy.
From Metaphors to Cosmic Horror
The concept of humans as energy sources began with Robert Monroe, a pioneering researcher into out-of-body experiences.
In his 1985 book Far Journeys, Monroe describes a vision in which non-physical beings revealed that Earth is a kind of garden, producing an energy he called 'loosh'.
This energy, essentially a form of universal love or emotional vitality, was created naturally by living beings and used by higher entities to fuel growth and evolution.
Monroe's original depiction was neutral and even positive. He emphasised that loosh was a symbiotic form of energy: humans and other life forms produced it, and higher beings used it to generate more complex life, enhancing creation itself.
There was no suggestion of malevolence—just a metaphysical cycle of giving and receiving.
Over the next decade, Monroe's neutral idea was reinterpreted by online communities and conspiracy theorists. By the late 1990s, writers began describing loosh as negative emotional energy deliberately extracted from humans.
The shift transformed Monroe's vision into a darker narrative: Earth became a 'prison planet', humans were seen as involuntary energy producers, and the higher beings were recast as deceptive entities exploiting fear, pain and suffering for their own benefit.
David Icke played a major role in popularising this reinterpretation. He combined the loosh concept with his Reptilian theory, claiming these shapeshifting beings secretly control human history and societal structures.
Over time, the narrative merged with neo-Gnostic ideas, where the Reptilians were equated with Archons or demonic overseers, creating a sprawling modern mythology in which Earth itself is a farm of misery.
Whistleblowers and UFO Testimonies
Recent whistleblower claims tie these theories to UFO and UAP phenomena. Some assert that extraterrestrial visitors are not merely observers but actively manage humanity as a source of energy.
Witnesses report inexplicable light phenomena, telepathic messages, and encounters with humanoid beings that seem more concerned with human emotion than physical resources.
While the mainstream focuses on radar evidence or recorded sightings, the whistleblowers' perspective paints a broader, more metaphysical picture.
They argue that emotional and psychic energy, rather than material resources, is the primary object of alien attention. This aligns with the modern loosh narrative, albeit without solid empirical evidence.
How Mythology Becomes Belief
The loosh and prison planet narrative illustrates how metaphysical ideas can evolve into modern folklore. Monroe's out-of-body vision, intended as a spiritual lesson, was repackaged by Icke and others into a cautionary tale of cosmic exploitation.
Internet communities, alternative media, and conspiracy theorists further amplified these concepts, blending them with UFO sightings, Reptilian myths, and Gnostic symbolism.
Experts suggest that these narratives function similarly to religion or myth, providing explanations for existential anxieties and unexplained phenomena.
While some take them literally, others treat them as metaphorical frameworks to explore consciousness, morality, and the limits of human understanding.
As UFO research continues, the loosh myth highlights a curious intersection of spiritual exploration, conspiracy theory, and modern mythology.
From Monroe's vision of symbiotic cosmic energy to Icke's dark Reptilian narratives, Earth may be cast as a cosmic farm—but whether the harvest is real, imagined, or simply metaphorical remains one of the strangest mysteries of the UFO phenomenon.

Our American Alchemist this week is Kevin Knuth.
Kevin Knuth (University at Albany physicist, former NASA) lays out the most concrete physics-first framework I’ve heard for what these objects are and what they can do.
This episode centers on three hard points: repeated UAP interaction with nuclear assets, flight performance that breaks conventional engineering by orders of magnitude, and a growing civilian pipeline analyzing debris and isotopes outside black programs.

Secret Danish UFO Contactees Reveal Aliens Have Spoken to Europe for Centuries
19 January 2026, 11:39 AM GMT
A hidden lineage of UFO contactees stretching back more than four centuries is coming into focus in Denmark, with researchers now arguing that extraterrestrial beings have been communicating with Europeans long before America's famous flying saucer era, revealing a strange underground tradition of telepathy, light phenomena and Space Brothers that most of the world has never heard of.
Much of this story has resurfaced thanks to Simon Hesselager Johansen, a writer and researcher for HidDenmark, a group that maps folklore, high strangeness and unexplained events across the country.
What began as an interactive map of eerie sites has turned into a serious catalogue of Danish UFO history, now being discussed far beyond Scandinavia.
Denmark's Forgotten UFO Archive
Simon points to the Aarslev Enge case of 1600 as one of Europe's earliest close encounters. Farmers reported seeing what looked like a wagon without horses descending into a field, accompanied by towering figures in strange dresses.
At a time when flight was unknown, witnesses struggled to explain what they saw, yet the description now closely resembles modern UFO landing reports.
Major Danish newspapers have since revisited the case, treating it not as legend but as a historical mystery that refuses to fade. For Simon and his colleagues, it proves that unusual sky visitors have been part of Danish history for centuries.
Josef Maliszewski and the Beings of Zutorn
The most compelling modern contactee case involves Polish-born Danish mechanic Josef Maliszewski. In 1951, near Sønderborg, he claimed a vast bluish silver craft landed close to his home in the middle of the night.
Maliszewski described a vehicle around 100 metres long, with folding half-moon wings, porthole windows and horseshoe-shaped landing feet. As he approached, he said an invisible force froze him in place while birds fell silent and cattle stood motionless.
He later claimed to hear a calm telepathic voice saying, 'Do not be afraid, we will not take any of them.' Moments later, smaller flying saucers emerged from the craft and hovered above it like sentinels.
Six tall, dark-skinned crew members then descended an external ramp to repair the vessel. Maliszewski said they wore seamless glittering suits, transparent helmets and breathing gear similar to navy divers.
He later insisted these beings came from a world called Zutorn, predating the earliest American contact stories.
Supporters see this as one of Europe's most detailed pre-Adamski encounters, while sceptics argue memory and imagination could have shaped the tale over time.

Taxi Driver Knud Weiking and Orthon
A later figure in this hidden tradition was Danish taxi driver Knud Weiking, who claimed to channel messages from a being named Orthon. Unlike Maliszewski, Weiking did not describe physical craft but instead received spiritual and telepathic communications.
His messages echoed the Space Brother narrative popularised by George Adamski in the United States, warning humanity about war, environmental destruction and moral decline. Yet in Denmark, these ideas circulated quietly through small circles rather than becoming mass movements.
Researchers note that Weiking's account blends Christian themes with cosmic spirituality, suggesting that European contact stories evolved differently from American ones.
From Denmark to Ashtar Command
Simon Johansen argues that Danish contact traditions eventually connected to wider European movements in Czechia and Slovakia, where figures such as Ivo Benda promoted messages from Ashtar Command, a supposed galactic alliance of benevolent beings.
Another key personality, a healer known as Branjo, also claimed extraterrestrial guidance. These stories share striking similarities with earlier Danish cases, including telepathic contact, visions of advanced civilisations and warnings about humanity's future.
Throughout this research, comparisons are constantly drawn to George Adamski, whose Space Brother philosophy inspired followers worldwide. Yet Danish accounts often feel more folkloric, blending UFOs with older myths of elves, spirits and sky beings.
HidDenmark's work also highlights bizarre side details, from glowing lights over fields to supposed doomsday bunkers and even debates over what aliens might wear.
Simon jokingly notes that some contactees described extraterrestrial couture in remarkable detail. Even pop culture enters the mix. Tintin's adventure with ancient astronauts is frequently cited as a reflection of real-world beliefs circulating across Europe.
Why This Matters Now
As UFO discussion becomes mainstream, Denmark's quiet history of contactees is gaining fresh attention. What once seemed fringe is now part of a broader debate about whether intelligent non-human beings have been observing Earth for centuries.
Whether these stories are spiritual, psychological or genuinely extraterrestrial remains fiercely contested. Yet one thing is clear. Long before Roswell, Europeans were already claiming that aliens had spoken to them.
In Denmark, that conversation never really stopped.
