Conjecture:
Ryan: "He is a spoiler, and has been assured by his paymasters that if he helps tank Trump that he will be given the job he has coveted all along which is candidate for president. If he is successful in tanking Trump, he does not want to be minority leader. Ryan needs to be taken down now, to thwart this deep state plan. And that will happen if someone has the courage to make a motion to vacate the chair."
