The problem in South America is that the threat of gangs is so strong, people in many areas that are remote, venture out as little as possible in order to not become victims. This stops the need for further education, hospital visits, and travel for leisure and business. When you think about what they sent here, and how it affected our economy and way of life, is 100 times worse there, because many politicians only source of big money is not but working with the cartels.
