We need a new doctrine and some serious resolve all across the entire western hemisphere and start to be preemptive against these viscous gangs that eventually come here with their drugs and human trafficking. Many of these South American countries do not have the air support that they need to affectively go after these terrorists which are armed with military grade rifles, drones, and explosives. The US needs to provide air cover and drones to help those law enforcement to capture or remove these threats. They do not have Blackhawks, Apaches, cobras, A10s, night vision, F35's, frequency jamming, and the arsenal to handle those threats with the proper force because with that type of support, I am sure they would go in and get the job done.
