Travel pool #1 (No tarmac gaggle; departing JBA)
Marine One landed at JBA at 9:29 p.m.
POTUS didn't stop for questions, though waved to press, and boarded AF1 at 9:34 p.m., waving at the top. Wheels up soon for Zurich Airport.
"Let's put it this way: It's going to be a very interesting Davos," President Trump told reporters Monday night as his renewed interest in Greenland reverberated around the world and is already an intense topic at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
Trump is scheduled to address the forum tomorrow at 2:30 p.m CET (8:30 a.m. EST). After that he has meetings with foreign leaders and a reception with business leaders, the White House said. Additional events are planned for Thursday.
As press initially boarded AF1, Kevin Hassett, director of the National Economic Council, made a brief appearance in our cabin. He said this is his first trip to Davos.
