>3 inches of ice vs.power lines
Anon called a store in the expected ice zone to ask if they had generators in stock.
The clerk laughed.
>I'm willing to rent my generators out
Anon already has a generator, but was trying to take care of a fren.
Wound up driving a ways, and finally got what they needed.
Wasn't a totally selfless act. Anon's generator isn't big enough to run the water heater, and anon might want a hot shower if power is out for a week or two.
That works, but nothing quite says comfy like steaming up the bathroom for 15 minutes.
