Three killed in Ukrainian drone raid on Russia’s Krasnodar Region – officials

Three people have been killed and eight others wounded in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on a civilian port terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Region, local authorities said on Thursday.
The strike was the second in two days to target the southern Russian region, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
Authorities said the attack hit a port facility in the Black Sea village of Volna, sparking a fire at an oil storage site. Four fuel tanks caught fire before firefighters brought the blaze under control several hours later. More than 200 emergency workers were involved.
Volna is located about 15km from the strategic Kerch Strait bridge linking Krasnodar Region with Crimea. Ukraine has repeatedly tried to destroy the bridge, including by using a truck bomb, naval drones, and other weapons.
On Wednesday morning, residents of an apartment building in Krasnodar Region were evacuated after an unexploded Ukrainian kamikaze drone landed on the structure. The governor said the incident was part of a broader Ukrainian raid on southern Russia that also damaged a residential building in neighboring Adygea, injuring 11 people.
Moscow says Kiev is attacking civilian infrastructure because it cannot halt Russian advances on the battlefield. Ukrainian officials claim that inflicting sufficient economic damage will force Russia to abandon its objectives in the four-year conflict.
The Russian military has targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure it says supports kamikaze drone production for long-range strikes.
Several major Ukrainian cities, including the capital, Kiev, are currently facing severe power shortages as grid deterioration coincides with a cold snap. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko has urged residents to evacuate if possible.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian targets. Among the targets attacked were an oil terminal, a warehouse for unmanned aerial vehicles and air defense systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of January 22, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal (Volna, Krasnodar Krai of Russia), which is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces," Ukraine's General Staff says.
As a result of the Russian strike, the target was hit, causing explosions and a fire. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
In addition, Russian targets in the temporarily occupied Crimea were attacked. In particular, hits were recorded on the 59N6-E Protivnik-GE radar station, the 55Zh6 Nebo-U radar station, and the 55Zh6M Nebo-M radar station.
In addition, many Russian targets were hit in other temporarily occupied territories, in particular, a drone storage facility in Novohryhorivka, Kherson region, a command and observation post of the 76th Airborne Brigade, and Russian personnel from the 74th Motorized Brigade in Selydove, Donetsk region.

IDF carries out anti-terrorism operation in Hebron, seizes illegal weapons, arrests wanted suspects

The IDF Judea Brigade began a counterterrorism operation earlier this week in the Hebron area, as part of an ongoing effort to enforce law and order and maintain security in the area, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir announced on Thursday.
The operation "is part of a series of proactive operations to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria and to strengthen the defense of the settlements," Zamir said.
The operation, which involves fighters from the 932nd, 910th, and Ram Battalions as well as special units, Border Police, and local police forces, has already searched buildings and arrested wanted suspects.
Weapons, means of combat, and additional military equipment have been found and seized, according to an IDF statement.
Proactive and sustained action essential, Zamir says
Forces are operating in the Jabal Johar neighborhood in Hebron in response to numerous shootings.
Zamir stressed the importance of "proactive and sustained action to suppress terrorism and its infrastructure."
"It is necessary to ensure the preparedness and alertness of the forces for terror incidents without prior warning."
Zamir also warned against individuals or groups intending to take the law into their own hands, calling such incidents "unacceptable acts that harm the entire settlement enterprise," and reminded that "the IDF and the security forces are the only bodies authorized to use the force required to carry out the mission of defending the sector."
Destruction of Hamas tunnel near yellow line
The IDF located and destroyed a one-kilometer-long terror tunnel in the central camp area east of the Yellow Line, containing weapons and three dormitories used by Hamas terrorists.
The tunnel was located by elements of the IDF’s Kfir Infantry Brigade Combat Team and was destroyed by the Yahalom Combat Engineers special forces unit.

Hamas reportedly agrees to surrender weapons in US-mediated deal

Hamas has reportedly reached an understanding with the United States to surrender its weapons and provide maps of Gaza’s tunnel network in exchange for being allowed to remain a political party in the territory, according to a Palestinian source speaking to Sky News Arabia.
The source said that Hamas has already handed over arms and tunnel schematics “through a mechanism that has not yet been revealed.”
Under the deal, Hamas leaders, both political and military, would be allowed to leave Gaza if they choose, with U.S. assurances that Israel would not target them or leaders already abroad.
Washington is also reportedly working to integrate some Hamas police officers and former officials into Gaza’s new administration, contingent upon passing “Israeli-American security checks.”
However, the source noted that Israel has expressed significant reservations about several aspects of the agreement, particularly the clause allowing Hamas to continue as a political entity in Palestinian politics.

Japan is turning to drones in its escalating battle with bears, as authorities deploy new anti-bear tech to deal with a surge in dangerous encounters.
As reported by TBS News Dig, local governments across rural Japan have begun rolling out drones equipped with loudspeakers, flashing lights, and even pepper spray to scare bears away from populated areas.
The move follows off the back of a record-breaking year of rising incidents, where bears have been spotted wandering into towns and residential zones as shrinking habitats and food shortages drive them closer to people.
Japan to use drones in fight against bears
One of the most eye-catching examples comes from a demonstration in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, where officials tested the drone’s capabilities on a man wearing a full bear suit.
The comical tech demo showed the drone hovering overhead before briefly stopping to release a burst of bear spray from above, highlighting how the system could scare off animals without putting humans in danger.
Japan’s Environment Ministry has previously warned that bear attacks have reached historic highs, with dozens of serious injuries reported in recent years and multiple fatalities confirmed during peak seasons.
That rise has already pushed authorities to try unconventional measures, including urging children to carry plastic bottles to make noise while walking to school and even deploying the Japan Self-Defense Forces to help track and respond to bears in affected regions.
Last year, researchers also revealed an AI system designed to predict bear encounters before they happen, giving local authorities a way to anticipate when and where bears could emerge near towns or residential areas.

'This is the biggest UFO bombshell of 2026': Retired colonel testimony points to secret non-human recovery mission in Brazil

A retired US Air Force fighter pilot claims there is likely an extensive 'paper trail' proving that one of the most infamous UFO encounters of the last three decades really happened.
Colonel Fred Claussen, who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross twice during his career, came forward during a press conference in Washington on Tuesday to reveal who would know about the 1996 incident in Varginha, Brazil.
The alleged incident began on January 13, 1996, when locals reported seeing a UFO crash-landing in a field near Varginha, followed by sightings of strange creatures described as walking on two legs, but having oily brown skin and large red eyes.
In fact, three young women claimed they found one of the extraterrestrials hiding behind a wall near the crash site.
Despite reports that Brazilian police and military captured at least two aliens, the US Air Force allegedly confiscated all of the wreckage, the bodies of dead aliens, and the survivors of the crash, starting a supposed cover-up that has lasted for 30 years.
To this date, the US military has said there has never been any physical evidence recovered that proves the existence of UFOs or alien life, and has not confirmed that this recovery ever took place.
However, Claussen spoke at an event at the National Press Club organized by investigative filmmaker James Fox, which gathered witnesses and other experts to expose what they claim has been buried about the Varginha crash.
'If true, I am certain that 30 to 40 Americans had direct knowledge of this flight and its purpose,' Claussen said.
Often called the 'Brazilian Roswell,' Claussen said that even secret missions involve multiple military personnel and various orders that create documented evidence of their existence.
The decorated Air Force veteran explained that if the US military did launch a UFO recovery mission to Brazil, it would have started within Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
They would have received the initial order to send a cargo plane, so senior officers there would have known the Varginha crash existed.
'An international flight plan to Brazil is required even if the mission is classified. Paper trail,' Claussen declared.

From there, a specific Air Mobility Wing at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina would have received a detailed mission order, selected a crew, and prepared a C-17 aircraft for launch - involving dozens of people.
Pilots, loadmasters, schedulers, and commanders at that base would have been in the loop in 1996, and Claussen was convinced the proof of that UFO crash still exists.
Along with the witnesses from Brazil and other UFO researchers, Claussen then challenged the Air Force personnel who allegedly flew to Brazil to become whistleblowers and expose what really happened in 1996.
'We know this mission happened, and you know it, too. Come forward. The time is now,' the former pilot said.
The incident 30 years ago played out over several days and also involved the death of a Brazilian police officer who was allegedly contaminated by one of the aliens.
On January 13, 1996, witnesses in Varginha spotted a cigar-shaped UFO that looked damaged and had white smoke pouring out of it.
The supposed spacecraft crashed on a farm outside the city, where witness Carlos de Souza, who attended Tuesday's press conference, found scattered debris and a strange, lightweight metal that reshaped itself after being crumpled.
However, soldiers quickly arrived and de Souza claimed he was ordered to leave at gunpoint. Later, two mysterious men in suits allegedly threatened him at a gas station to stay silent about what he saw.
'You saw nothing. You know nothing. Or you will have problems for the rest of your life,' de Souza recounted about his meeting with the unidentified men.
Days later, on January 20, the three young women encountered a reportedly scared, non-human being in a vacant lot that had a strong ammonia smell.
Brazilian military and police captured at least two of these beings that same day, including one grabbed bare-handed by officer Marco Eli Chereze, whose skin was scratched during the capture.
Chereze developed a deadly infection from the alleged scratch and died weeks later.
Dr Armando Monteiro, a forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on Chereze, revealed during the press conference that he discovered a rare, aggressive bacterium that doctors suspected might have been of alien origin in the officer's wound.
Soon after, the beings and debris were reportedly transported to a Brazilian airport, where the secret C-17 cargo plane allegedly loaded them and flew back to America.
Although witnesses have maintained that everything they saw was real, no evidence from the reported crash site has been seen again, and the death of Chereze was reportedly listed as an infection due to the Earth bacteria strain Staphylococcus schleiferi.

UFO Sightings Appear Clustered Near Missouri Nuclear Facility

What exactly is E.T. up to? That's the question being asked after new data shows the sightings of unidentified flying objects aka unknown aerial phenomena seem to be clustered around a Missouri nuclear power plant.
I had an interesting study sent to me by Enigma which has taken a look at unidentified aerial phenomena specifically near nuclear facilities.
They mapped (literally) the locations in America where there have been more than 30 UFO sightings and you can see near the Callaway Energy Center near Fulton, Missouri, a UAP hotspot has been found.
Why would UFO's be drawn to a nuclear facility in Missouri?
The study presents three options. Their theory is that these objects may be drawn to radiation. Another believes that the objects aren't extraterrestrial, but foreign governments surveying American nuclear sites for intelligence gathering.
A third theory wonders if "alien intelligence" is trying to intervene to help "protect" humans from themselves. I have my own theory and it doesn't involve "aliens" or foreign governments, but that's a conversation for another day.
The bottom line is it's a national security issue when you have objects of unknown origin near sites where nuclear elements are present.
No matter what the intention of any foreign objects be they terrestrial or otherwise might be, Missouri and other states need to figure out what exactly is happening in the skies above our nuclear power plants.
