Does anyone know if Kieth Ellison is related to William "April" Ellison?

I am not a genealogist so it is mostly idle curiosity. Brave AI says no but with pretty shaking reasoning (they lived in vastly different times). Not finding much about KE's family more than two generations before him. And for obvious reasons William Ellison is a buried topic.
