Anon's personal experience:
The only two people I personally know/knew who became cops did it specifically because they wanted the power.
This is no "guess" or "speculation" by Anon.
Both stated that as their driving reason.
One has been "reprimanded" (never any real punishment) multiple times for violating people rights and as far as I know, is still a dick with a gun.
The other who is dead from the vaxx was a Statie and had a serious hard-on for black dudes with white women.
He had quite a number of stories where he stated that if he saw that pairing in a vehicle, he's pull 'em over and run them through the ringer because he could.
All that said, Anon did know a couple of decent cops back when Anon was a cub scout leader.
Two of the boy's fathers were local county cops.
