Not true. If an officer acts outside the law and puts you in fear for your life, you absolutely have the right to defend yourself. You also have a right to use force to defend from unlawful arrest.
See Bad Elk V US, the 4th, 9th, and 14th amendments to the US Constitution and remind yourself that it is a federal crime to deprive any right under color of law, statute, ordinance or custom, so no matter how much they claim Bad Elk is "bad lad" it's still a right.

Cause when it's unlawful… then the cop forfeited their own safety and it's a RIGHT to use force against them.
