HE STOLE $23 MILLION FROM THE HOMELESS TO BUY A MANSION.
We always asked: "Where is all the money going?" Now we know.
Meet Alexander Soofer, the Executive Director of the charity "Abundant Blessings." His job was to feed and house the homeless in Los Angeles.
Instead, federal prosecutors say he stole $10 MILLION of taxpayer money to fund his own lavish lifestyle.
The Shopping List (Paid for by Taxpayers):
A $7 Million Mansion in Westwood.
A $475,000 Vacation Home in Greece.
A $125,000 Range Rover.
Private school tuition for his kids.
Private jets and luxury resort stays.

While he was flying private, the indictment says he was feeding the homeless people in his care nothing but Ramen noodles and canned beans instead of the nutritious meals he billed the city for.
He allegedly forged invoices, stole logos from real companies, and lied to auditors for years.

He was arrested yesterday (Jan 23) by the new Homelessness Fraud Task Force.
He is facing 20 years in federal prison.
This is what happens when you finally audit the "non-profits."
Do you think this is just the tip of the iceberg for homeless charities?
