The video shows a noncompliant citizen. The deceased gentleman could have avoided the entire situation. He had no need to be in the roadway to protest. He crossed the line, impeded law enforcement, refused to comply, and placed himself in a melee. The gentleman suffered the consequences of a situation he created.

It seems quite simple for the 'legal observers' to take video from the sidewalk. Somehow they end up in 'direct-action' roles impeding or attempting to direct traffic. Stay out of the road and out of the path of any vehicle believed to be ICE or any law enforcement agency. It seems simple.
